Increasing your Barter skill will give you more caps for what you sell. There's no difference in where you sell your items.

Does anyone know which version of the Wasteland Survival Guide is canon? It's been bugging me since about 5 minutes after finding one.

Which version? What do you mean? In game Wasteland Survival Guides award +3 to your Survival skill (+4 with perk)

Its looking like only 4-5 weapon schematics are in the game, am i right?

There's 3 schematics that you can find or earn. The rest is already available from the workbench. There's numerous Survival recipes though. I'm sure The Vault wiki has them all listed.

What does a joker do in Caravan?

If a joker is placed on a numerical card it removes that type of card from the play area, yours and your opponents', except the card it is played on.
If a joker is placed on an ace, it removes all cards of that suite (hearts, clubs etc.) from the play area, yours and your opponents', except the card it is played on.

It's great for removing your opponents caravan valued at 26, but it's situational since it depends on what you'll lose yourself.

Where can I buy regular and/or armour piercing .45-70 Gov't ammunition? All I've seen so far is hollow point, which is utterly useless against everything.

I think the stock of vendors is random. Any vendor selling a large selection of weapons should have it from time to time.

Q: Are there any stat-raising specs out there? Without the 4-eyes perk, I mean.

Is there a way to get outside at the top of the Lucky 38 anywhere? I was hoping for a great view of the wasteland, but from inside you can't see s***.

If you're on the PC you can use the console to go through the wall. The command is "tcl".

how do i get into the abandoned BoS bunker?

It was locked off in the latest patch for whatever reason. If you're on PC you can use the console, select the door and type "unlock" to go there.

And to equip the mod to your gun, simple get the pip boy screen up, highlight the hunting rifle and press left bumper (assuming you play Xbox like me), if your on the computer just look at the legends in the top right corner, should tell you there.

On PC it's the "X" key

Contreras at Mccarran is the best source for this ammunition type and one of the only reliable ones. Every three days he restocks over 1k rounds, this may be tied to your level though I'm not sure, just know I've had it repeat over several games but was always at least level 24 before talking to him so I dunno.

can you play games at the casino in Primm (vikki's) i am not able to. do i have to complete a quest or something, everyone in the casino is on alert??

a few days after getting a sherrif go back and there will be some dirty people to talk to. a few days after theyre gone it should open.

The sharecroppers literally have hundreds of them in the greenhouses. I had this problem a while back and another member of the forums helped me find them. I updated the wiki to include that information.

It's always set to switch ammo types. Annoyed me too, 'cause I almost never change ammo types.

Speech
Stealth
Weapon style of choice

Save goodspring so you have whats his faces Stealthboy.
Go north to the Stripe (save often under different files each time you may need to back track)
Stay on the side of the road with Tabitha's station
Stealth + night... + stealthboy when spoted...

Do house, or Yes Man

When you are asked if you want to deal with the Khan's kill them, or get them not to fight... don't skip them (I wish I had)
Get as many Doc bags as you can.

Talk Benny up to his room...
Kill him...
Stay friendly with the NCR so you don't have to kill any but the ones in the damn that block a room.
Stealth/kill Legion up to Lanius... Talk him down...
Boom done.
I was level 16, but odds are you can do it at 10, but make sure you are Max skill Speech + weapon of choice, and have a named weapon of that choice.

There is a 10 part video series of a guy who did a "Ghandi" run on very hard hardcoe mode and he did it in 2h40m. Just search on youtube for fallout new vegas ghandi or something similar.

They are all stopped at the time the war began.

Also, OP;
You can;t buy stims, because they are outlawed, but right as you go into the fort up the ramp to the right before you get to where the kids are there is a trader sellin ammo, food, mags, and other stuff, just not weapons or stims or chems.

From What I have been told, Since Marilyn's image, and name and all that are still a hot property, they couldn't obtain the rights to put her likeness in the game, even though she is mentioned by Veronica, and on the deck cards.....

Obviously, Marilyn is meant to be marilyn monroe and Jane is meant to be Jane Russel from Gentlemen prefer blondes. I would recommend this movie to anyone with a soft spot for 40-50s nostalgia, it's a great flick

I'm wondering where to go to next. I'm level 7, I've done Goodsprings, Primm, Bounder City and have done the Helions ONE quest. I can't seem to proceed with the main quest, because I can't get past Neil's Shack due to the Deathclaws and Super Mutants being way too heavy for my level. So any tips on where to go for quests and levels at this stage?
