Not knowing which one to send it to, I sent an application to both, so it should be there.

Accepted. And promoted!

Just had two awesome matches on Op. Metro, Conquest and Grand Bazaar, Rush.

Most of the people on the team actually knew how to play their classes (too many times have I died because no-one ever dropped a med-pack or ammo box :meh: ), which was a large part of the reason we did so good.

On grand Bazaar, I went 15-1 with the M249, bipod and reflex, claymores helped, to. ( ) It was a great match, usually I have to play with my friends if I want to play this game how it's supposed to be played. But people were dropping med packs and ammo left and right, it was great!

Then, on Metro, we got B and held it for the majority of the match ( a long time considering it was a 700 ticket server). Then we fought for A and capped. After that it was just a base [censored] fest. But I still got a light machine gun medal and another service star for the M249.

About the supposed bug I found: I think it's just something that happens when you're fully suppressed, since I it only happened when people managed to shoot back at me.

My squadmate, Lewis, blew up three scout helicopters with his RPG on Noshahr Canols! Three!

I've also found a new love for the M60.
Yeah, I no longer use the Javelin or Stinger, the RPG was buffed out, big time. I downed 5 in a Noshahr match, they seem to just love to hover right in front of me on that map. :disguise:

I can't seem to get used to the M60's massive recoil. If I don't have a bipod placed the thing just automatically shoots up 90 degrees!

How do you manage with that? I'd like to know if this weapon is better than I thought.

It has more recoil but more damage, it was basically designed for biped use. Then you can't hold the trigger, otherwise you are doing it wrong. You just tap the shoot button for about a second and it is incredibly accurate.

Edit: Also does anyone else think that the frogfoot is better than thunderbolt?

^^that

I had close to 140 revives. Went from having a total of 800 something to 1018. And I had a TON of assists. If I would have killed everyone I got below 50% health I would have had about 50 kills. It was ridiculous. I'd start blasting into a group with my Famas, and then I'd get shot out of nowhere from the side. Then I'd get like 600 points in assists a few seconds later.

Spanky and I laid waste to this one group of guys. He ended up coming out with 900+ points from 4 seconds of gameplay, and I came out with about 800.
I'll be on until 11 or 12 tonight, so if you wanna play, hit me up on here or on Battlelog.

If anyone is up for a game, just hit me up with a friend request on XBL.

@HARVEYtheDAMNED

Sent an invite over live. I am usually up for a game. If I am on and you are looking to play, just message me.

Been trying to get on more. The issue is the people that I normally play with are usually only available on the weekends.

Well, I am bored and want to talk loadouts and kits.

I have been have great success with the recon lately, everyone has a style of play but I love the M39 with a Acog-suppressor setup.
Its amazing for close/mid range on TDM or smaller maps. Throw in the TUGS sensor and spawn bacon (I know its beacon) with a 1911 suppressed and you have a great little kit. Take squad ammo.
Don't forget to change camo to match the map, its a small change but can make a big difference. I went almost a entire 1500 ticket TDM last night with only a few deaths by blending in and using the TUGS.
The M39 allows quick follow up shots, minimal recoil and a good punch.

If shorter range is your thing a SKS might work better with its higher cap mag.

The M39 is also ok with a 12X/bipod/whatever but I think a bolt action would be better for that range.
Shotguns seem to have been nurfed since I played at launch.

The motion sensor can be a powerful tool for the team and a points jackpot for you.
Help defend a point with it, or help the team move up on a map like metro it can cover a big chunk of the map.

Tanks lately seem to be free kills, but running thermal camo/IR smoke on larger maps with LMG should get you by. I have even bagged a few jets and choppers with the main gun.
On smaller maps you may want to take the motion sensor and IR smoke with the LMG.

For support I have been running Type 88 with Extend mags and bi-pod, ammo box and claymores or c4 depending on the map.
Claymores are amazing to be honest, hardly anyone notices them, you can place up to 2 of them as well.
Squad suppressive fire.

I am not so good with assault or medic, and can't seem to find a gun that works for me.

I find the M416 to be a good gun for Assualt.
Holo, Silencer and M320 underslug give it a good all round punch.

Playing this game made me realize something: I svck at it. Sure I occasionally get a good round but I can't aim fast enough in the heat of the moment, can't fly a jet or helicopter for the life of me, and get tons of RPGs fired at me in a tank or LAV from enemies I can never see. It's so annoying getting hit and never seeing who's doing it.

On the plus side, I couldn't care less about K/D ratios or anything like that, so I still have fun.

It takes a lot of time.

Eventually you get to know the maps and develop a "twitch" reflex. I have a habit of scanning the entire screen continuously and avoiding certain parts of maps with different vehicles.

You do develop a feel for aiming. Try messing with your sensitivity. I turn mine way down when on foot and boost it up when in a tank or gunner on jeep (my mouse can change on the fly). I found my mouse setting + default BF3 settings were way too high and I was spinning 720 degrees unintentionally. (This kinda figures for console, too)

To learn jets and helicopters, find a server that is 1 Player Start. That means the round will start with one person in the server and you can fly around to your content. (Not sure how servers work on console)

Tanks and LAV: You'll learn where and where not to go. You'll also unlock really beneficial things like radar and reactive armor and the light/heavy machine guns. Very useful stuff. Best suggestion is to jus hop in as a passenger/gunner. You still get the points but don't have to be responsible for any of the driving, just shooting. That's how I've unlocked heat seekers and stealth for my helicopters. I haven't flown a single helicopter, but being a gunner in an attack heli and riding passenger (usually repairing) in a scout heli have gotten me a lot of points.

Just got done with a game which was pretty much my squad versus the rest of the team. We each had 10000+ points and were the only ones trying to cap points consistently.

I've been having fun in LAV and tanks and have unlocked a few nice things like zoom. I play Back to Karkand almost exclusively now so no aircraft, but man I still tend to get hit by invisible RPGs and I'm almost always the unlucky one that hits with javelin + SOFLAM when nobody ever uses them when I'm not using a vehicle. Seriously.

Oh something else I noticed which is odd: My MAV can destroy enemy equipment by pressing fire. Enemy MAVs I lock on to and fire, and others I just fire at. There's no bullets, no missile, it just gets destroyed. I see no mention of that ability anywhere.

Hmm. Can you get your MAV on video? I've not heard of that.
