Beautyfull Graphics but no challenge

Adding on that, grab a Daedric sword and make it legendary along with your armor then the master difficulty turns back to novice.

That line of argument is pointless-

Do this, then it's hard
Oh yeah, do THIS and then its easy again
Oh YEAH, well do THAT instead
So WHAT! I can do THIS now

My car is faster than yours
Oh yeah? I tuned the engine
So what I got a supercharger
Big deal I got nitrous

It's circular argument that brings you back to where you started.

The game cannot be all things to all people and all this argument about easy vs hard, challenging vs non-challenging, dumbed down vs streamlined...idiotic. Do you find the game FUN? Yes or no. Pick one, dammit. if you like it, play it. if you don't, tell me who has made you captive and forced to play the game and I will come and rescue you!

I only have one thing to say: I paid for this game and can't return it because I trusted Bethesda to actually make it better with successive patches.

Bethesda failed on this rushed game title.

P.S. How to rescue me: Come and give me my money back and I'll stop complaining......

bethesda's thinking: how do we make an rpg game for people who aren't normally into rpgs?

answer: SIMPLIFY EVERYTHING :| strip it all down to its lowest common denominator, and amplify the graphics tenfold to appeal to the visually inclined (ie. the vast majority of gamers)

result: skyrim

That's a silly response. You are responsible for your purchases, just as you are responsible for anything you do. You 'trusted' Bethesda, and now you toss a hissy because you didn't get everything your heart desired. You probably feel they betrayed you. You were deceived. You should file a class action suit along with other people. They used fraudulent adverting, right?

Well, you're in for a shock when you grow up, is all I can say. Your sense of entitlement is all too commonly found.

And it doesn't make circular arguments any better, either, just because you're mad

The classes could have been a bit more pronounced, the crafting is a bit messy. Still my mage on master don't find the game easy. 1:1 health:magicka I get one shotted by some melee friends.

I think people just believe that Morrowind is harder just because they played it when they were younger.
I used to think Daggerfall was such a hard game but after going back to it, it's a lot easier.
Oh and Daggerfall is better than Morrowind...just puttin that out there :P

The kinds of things you say that Skyrim does wrong, well morrowind did them too. You could just as easily create a Mage with a two handed war hammer in Morrowind. What this game is not showing as much is the number crunching, that goes under the hood, but to me that adds to the experience rather than retract it. As for the ability to be whoever you want to... well, you can use it to roleplay at will. On this playthrough I am a dunmer Mage with one handed sword skills, who dislikes the Aldmer and the empire but ultimately sided with them because I was dismayed at Ulfric's apparent racism. Now, I could go and play both sides of the fence and try to cram everything into one gameplay, but I won't. My current character will not be a bard in the same way that my next nord character will be fiercely pro nord, wield a two handed sword and heavy armor, and be Ulfric's puppy and join the bards college to sing his praises. THAT is roleplay and (perceived) freedom of choice. There's never a binary pivotal moment where you have to choose like there is in say The Witcher 2 (One of my other games of the year), but you can be whoever you want to be. While I might miss the fact that in Morrowind I could eventually fly, I don't miss the fact that the spell list would end up cluttered with spells that would never see use again. Oblivion did a lot of stuff wrong, and was a game I ended up never completing, but Skyrim, while trimming some of the fat (and stuff like Athletics could make you level up in ways you never intended and therefore become totally useless), is actually very complex in the freedom it provides. And, if all you want is to run around killing stuff, well, you can do that too.

Ok let's just scrap morrowind and Oblivion as the only good thing are the atmosphere and the free roam , don't you agree that the whole gameplay system should be reconsidered and redone by scratch?
They insisted on working on an obsolete system thining that streamlineing is the solution and what people want , but it is not true , people like more complexity and especially for a m rated game , the customer's don't expect a puffy fingered kid level of understanding for the game .... push , hack , get the treasure ....

It's about what the player has to do to accomplish an average quest in each of those games:

Morrowind;
- collect information about what to do by talking to NPC's/reading books and so on
- plan how to get to where you roughly need to go (Morrowind offered many different ways to travel and depending on where you needed to go one was usually a lot faster than the others)
- search for the location/person once you are where you roughly needed to go (usually either by searching the area or collecting more clues from NPC's)
- kill/interact with what you find

Skyrim:
- Fast travel to the location that clearly shown on your map or as close to it as you can get and just fallow the arrow
- kill/interact with what you find

And now tell me that Skyrim isn't more simplified in what it requires from the player.

You should either edit this or read the forum rules. Regardless of your decision I agree with the part of your thought process but also agree with most of what the OP has written as more then legitimate and is actually a growing feeling amongst the gaming community about this product.

Can you specify exactly which forum rule did I broke?

Ok I finished the main quest and I won't reveal spoilers but , Altough I liked a lot the ideas and story behind I think it was reallly poorly developed and this too wasrushed , it seems like in the ending of the story they just cut i short for lack of time and said " ok we have no more time let's cut it here and put the final stuff at this stage " wich to me feels like I was just beginning ... if you want the lenght of the main quest is as much as it shoudl be 1 / 4 ... it shoudl have been at least 4 times longer....
