Nope and nope. Lycanthropy can be cured however, and if you choose not to turn into a werewolf it really has no adverse effects on gameplay. Unless of course you like to get the well rested bonus to increase your skills of course, or you happen to like catching diseases.

And no for that last one. I think there are a few exceptions, but not many.
I know, but I just don't want to be forced to be one, to continue the questline. I have a Dunmer battlemage who has been a vampire for almost the whole time of my playthrough.

Finally, a thread where somebody is actually thanking Bethesda! I'm with this guy. I'm happy with all the new stuff they have been doing for us, thanks Bethesda!

Hello there!

I think one can be appreciative of the great things this game has to offer as well as critical of its shortcomings. There certainly is no shortage of appreciative threads and the same can be said about the opposite. It is a testament to the emotional bond Bethesda has managed to build with some of its fans that they might feel joyously compelled to thank BGS and not dream of doing the same to other companies whose service they are just as satisfied with. When was the last time you emailed your internet service provider and thanked them for all the hours of joy they have enabled you to have? When was the last time you thought paying that monthly bill just wasn't a big enough Thanks and made the call? I also believe one can take a deeper look at the statement "Betehsda listens to the fans". There's no doubt in my mind Dawnguard and even the Game Jam are direct responses to forum hue-and-cry. However, how does Bethesda determine the will of the fans? Number of similar threads, number of concurring posts? Number of different members who request feature X? I'm not asking this to downplay the apparently universal appeal of Vampires. I genuinely would like to know how they form an impression of what the will of the fans is.

I agree. I only want two things to be adressed. The realsim mode being one that im sure theyll put in soon because of all the fan input. And the second one being the ability to combine spells (which they showed in one of their videos).

Hi there Colonel Air! Good to see you.

Two very interesting requests. I'd say they are as requested as vampiresque stuff. Let's see how Beth deals with them.

I like what Bethesda does, they keep their integrity by giving fans what they want. Although the only thing stopping them is bugs, bugs, and more bugs.
No small pre-order DLC that annoys late-comers, check, no pre-order store exclusive bonues, check, no more small dlc like horse armor check.
