Bethesda should cancel their DLC exclusivity as an apology t

If I had a nickle for every person that tries to say "by law" or "in the law" but doesn't know jack about law.
... you'd what? Have a lot of money? How much? I'm assuming you have a list of people who use this phrase yet don't know about the law. Wouldn't the money you collect from that be undocumented income? :spotted owl:

It's bad coding from Bethesda. Nothing to do with the PS3.

Yeah. You know what? They should never do any DLC at all for Skyrim because PC users get Mods and Console Commands.

/sarcasm

Seriously? Everyone needs to get over themselves. PC users have the bad UI, Xbox users have terrible texture issues, and PS3 users have lag/crashes/Save issues. All three platforms also share a multitude of other problems.

We're all experiencing jarring things with the game. No one platform is worse off than the others. This whole "punish everyone else because I'm not happy" schtick is just ridiculous.

You wouldn't believe the percentage of people that come into my office or call and argue that I'm wrong and they know what the conclusions of law are and that I should have no problems winning their case. At that point I simply ask why they need an attorney in the first place. With that said attorneys love legal do it yourselfers, 99% of the time normal individuals have no problems with making an agreement and following through but the 1% are where we make all of our money. I have a case in litigation right now involving real estate where they could have spent a couple hundred bucks on a contract and they decided to save money.

They can't do that. It's a contract. Microsoft would burn them to the ground.

Exactly, Beth has nothing to do with the memory design on the PS3.

Funny. Nothing wrong with my PS3 and many others. So I guess only half of the PS3 customers, who bought Skyrim, magically got bad hardware from Sony. Sure.

Wait a second. The PS3 as you say is not functioning properly, so You Want to Give Bethesda even more money? I don't get it.

No, I picked the better console.

- BlueRay Player
- Better Graphics
- Better Exclusives
- Free Online
- Web Browsing
- True 1080P
- More 3D games
- Better Controller
- PS Plus
- PS Home
- PS2 and PS1 Classics
- PSP Connect Play
- PS Mini Games
- Games take 1 Disc

I think I would pick that over XBOX...and its 49% failure rate after two years...
Or a PC and its dying community....

Pretty sure this is a troll post. PC Skyrim most likely outsold (it unquestionably made more profit) PS3, and its market share has grown the last couple years.

Also, PS2 backward compatibility is a joke. Random PS3 revisions have it and almost all others don't. Sony dropped the ball horribly. It can't be counted as a feature.

Neither can true 1080p. Vast majority of AAA PS3 games are 720p or upscaled from 720p (which is NOT 1080p like PC can do.)

And better graphics? Hardly. The PC parts the video chips in the PS3 and 360 are based on were from the same generation and at the same price point. They also tested as being more or less equal, with the Nvidia part (PS3)being slightly better. And I do mean slightly. As in an extra 3-4 frames per second with the same task.

I'll give you the better controller. Then again I owned a PS2 so I'm biased. Idunno, I really love my DualShock 3 and never did get a good grasp on the 360 controller.

And yes, Xbox is a disaster. Massive failure rate, fail service (XBL is a paid service slathered with ADs -- extremely unprofessional, but that's apparently OK in the gaming market).

Microsoft has fail exclusives too. They have like ... Halo 4 this year, I guess? That franchise died after the original for me.

Also, PC has the best exclusives technically, don't forget that.

Technically the two consoles are worse off than the PC version. PC got a better product (as they rightfully should -- its basically a next generation platform. PC -> PS3/360 is equal to PS3/360 -> PS2/Xbox 1).

ROFL.
"Apology"? Lol. What a joke. As if the Xbox version of this game is ANY better. I've stopped playing until they actually fix this texture issue.

It is better, you don't even know. I'd take your buggy textures any day.

Actually, there is something wrong with your PS3, and every PS3 made. It stores saves in an extremely fragmented memory pool. The more data that accumulates, the more fragmented it becomes. Because the 360 and PC save in much larger locations, this doesn't occur. The problem is with the PS3 and that's Sony's fault for making a special needs system that requires special attention just to have games save properly on it.

I understand that you're regretting your decision to buy a PS3, but complaining about DLC exclusivity isn't going to help.

If bethesda couldn't make a reliable, well performing game on the PS3 then they shouldn't have. Other companies have no problem making games for the PS3, just Bethesda.

Exclusivity agreements are unethitcal? Why?
Imagine if Microsoft decided to just go completely balls to the wall and just buy out Valve and Zenimax (Bethesdas parent company) and have them make games exclusively for Xbox systems? I think the Internet would implode.
I'm suprised they didn't buy Bioware before EA did.

Microsoft got fined heavily in the early 00s for giving software developers incentives to keep their software off of Linux / MacOS / add Windows-exclusive features if the programs were already available on other OSes. It's pretty similar ... In 10 years I wouldn't be surprised to see an end to these.

So, are you raging on the internets about Sonys unethical practises regarding Metal Gear Solid 4, Batllefield 3 and a slew of games from the PS2 era? Or is your rage exclusive to Microsoft? Have you been protesting EAs exclusive NFL license?
Why did you even decide to give money to Bethesda in the first place when you knew they are unethical? And whats more confusing is that you are so eager to give them more of your money when on the other hand you are saying that the product they sold you in the first place is broken.

Yes yes. Sony is just as bad. Both consoles are rife with unethical practices and bad for the industry. I paid for Skyrim because proper work actually went into my platform's version. At least to a better degree than some of their last games. We get platform-specific fixes, less waits, and whatnot this time around. And the upgraded shadows (that unfortunately need custom config), oh man. Great.

Besides, it's a systemic industry problem. Best I can do is not buy console games, and I don't.

If anyone has to apologize its EA for the [censored] product Command and Conquer 4...

If i sold a program to 30 pc users 20 mac users and 5 to an unnamed OS and the unnamed OS had problems and demanded an apology i would give a crap for the 5 users who bought it for the OS its only 5 people... next release i will only release it to the PC and Mac users thats where my market is..

So you own the PC version of Skyrim? There are Mac users who would love to play this or most games on their computer platform of choice...

It's less about pocket-lining and more about Mac OS' driver foundation and 3D rendering methodology. OpenGL =/= DirectX, without even touching on the driver issue.

Also, Mac users have bootcamp. Their hardware is capable if they install Windows.
