I actually enjoy the gruesome animations, of course not against an innocent women. But boy did it look cool when that 21 inch blade was jammed straight into Ciceros esophagus.

I'm guessing killing innocent men is okay then.

I love the two-handed animation of a decapitation, and the one where you jump on the dragon's neck and drive Wuuthrad directly into his skull.

I always have a good laugh when an NPC pulls a finishing move like that on me.

Really? I seem to get mad at the npc who finnishing moved me. Especialy when the blurt out a line like, "Too easy..." That's when I reload my last save and make it my personal mission to do the following to that npc:

1. Decapitate them
2. Strip them of all clothing
3. Slash at them till the blood on the ground starts overlapping
4. Reanimate their corpse
5. Reduce them to a pile of ash with a powerful fire spell

I wonder why the game has decapitations, but otherwise very little blood. I don't like gore, but the amount of blood was so ridiculously low that I had to install a blood increasing mod.

PLEASE!
Skyrim is childsplay compared to Fallout.
Head's separating from the body, and from themselves.
The ability to disconnect limbs is available before and after killing a NPC.
ALOT more blood.

The OP is absolutely correct! In fact, there should be no killing at all in Skyrim. Characters should play rock-papers-scissors to see who wins the fight, and the loser should say "Jolly good game, ol' champ! Care for another go?"

What is this, Kingdom Hearts? This is an advlt-oriented game, in which you run around either hacking or beating your enemies to death with sharp and/or heavy objects, as well as filling them full of arrows or burning/freezing/electrocuting them to death. There's going to be blood.
I honestly don't think it's gory enough. And decapitations aren't enough either, we should be able to lop limbs off as well.

I saw a vid today where someone had bumped off all their female followers, and neatly and artisticly arranged their bodies around their house, and put all the heads on shelves.

That was a real worrier...especially after checking out several of their other youtube postings...brrrrr...sicko.

You *do* realize that there is no non-violent way to kill people with melee weapons, right? This is real life i'm talking about, too... you're using a sharpened peice of metal that can be longer than your arm to cause fatal damage to someone. Usually means lots of blood everywhere. Sticking it *through* them is the least violent method to dispatch someone.

They did that to appease all the players from fallout 3 to get them to buy into the game.
