Better Racials: A Race Overhaul Mod

How do people feel about a poison ability for Argonians? Something like once a day they can excrete hist sap that can act as a poison that causes frenzy and poison damage. It coats all weapons and stacks with other poisons.

The poison has a catch though. It is timed and lasts until the effect is over. It is not just one hit thing. For 60 seconds or so all weapon strikes(including bows) deal poison damage and have a frenzy effect. It would deal a moderate amount of poison damage. Like 20-30 per hit plus 5 per 10 levels. It is mostly effective against humanoids.

It is supposed to be similar to the hist sap from the oblivions fighters guild quests. Too much of a lore stretch?

v1.1 of Better Racials- Orsimer Edition has been uploaded. It removes the 30% health regeneration.

Here are the Khajiit as they are now but thinking about some other things for them as well. This is just a what we have so far thing for the Khajiit. Hard to make Lore friendly powers that are cool when there is not all that much known about the cultures abilities.
-Eye of Fear-Paralyzes Humanoids in front of the player for 5 seconds up to level 10 + 5 levels every 10 player levels. Enemies up to level 50(when you are level 81)
-Night Eye- Toggleable ability to see in the dark, can be used as a power but it just activates and deactivates. No timer or cool down.
Traits
-Feline Grace-20% increase in movement speed and jump height.
-Claws-15 bonus unarmed damage
-Hunters Constitution-10% health and stamina regeneration
Bonuses
+10 Sneak
+5 Pickpocketing
+5 Lockpicking
+5 One Handed
+5 Light Armor
+5 Archery

I know people are interested in the mod. What I meant was since I hadn't posted in awhile, I thought people had forgotten about it. But I agree once I package them together it will be much more convenient and easier to download.

I am working on a update for the Dunmer version.

It will include the following:

* A more permanent final summons. (No more 7 day time limit, disappears when health is depleted.)

* Add basic follower commands to permanent summons.

* Add ability to banish permanent summon at will.

lol holy crap someones already doing this >_> lol guess I'll end my musings, as yours pretty much does alot of what I have in mind.

Powers increase as level increase keeping them relevant to the player

varying powers, a few things missing sure, but excellent none the less. second thought, I'll continue, tis only a testament that what I have in mind is achievable

For the Khajiit, is it possible for you to make the claw damage scale with level so it's actually possible to do damage at higher levels with claws?

That sounds like a good idea, it should be possible. If i implement it, I'll credit you for the idea.

As for progress. Khajit mod has come along well. Have to run things by Albino to see if powers are balanced.

Decided to work on the Dunmer version today, after taking a long break from Skyrim.

I have uploaded v1.4 on Nexus.

1.4 includes the following:

Removed 7 day time limit on Permanent Mythical Ancestral Hero. They now stick around indefinitely. Also added ability to banish them.

The Fire Resistance is still there. It's now called "Ashborn." I updated the first post by adding the Ashborn trait.


Are you going to do all the races?

Yes, that is the plan. But I recently took a break from modding and Skyrim in general.

Understandable, when you do finish this mod is there a way you can make a all in one version? that way i can have more esp slots.
