Moving on to actual Pok?mon discussion.

I've never played any of the Ranger games. Are they any good?

Any idea if they are going to expand the Eevolutions of Eevee again? They are still missing a few types

Probably in gen5. I'm still waiting for my fighting eevee. Or my dragon eevee.

Atleast now you can have your full team. Even if you have to breed eevee like there's no tomorrow.

Jolteon
Vaporeon
Flarion
Umbreon
Espeon
Glaceon
Leafeon

Just gotta leave one out. I always like having an espeon with bite.

Edit: Wrong move name.

Well, I actually have Platinum and just restarted. Got bored after getting all the legendaries and I decided that I want a much faster team this time.

So beside eventually getting all the Evee evolutions, I have one other goal.

How the HELL do I get some shinies??????

I heard the pokeradar method is BS. So now what?

Luck. Or go find a pokemon forum that is active in trading and ask for shinies. Better be prepared to match what they'll ask for em.

well if you're after a shiny legendary, then all you have to do is save before you battle it, then keep soft resetting until it's shiny. Only thing that doesn't work for are the legendaries that you encounter in the wild.

And by soft reset you mean turning the damn game on and off over and over right?

Suppose it would work with Girantina? What about some of the other pokemon that aren't wild. Such as the Evee you get in Hearthome city.

Yeah as along as you save right before you talk to the person who gives it to you and not after.

The Pok?dar method is to chain Pok?mon but you won't usually get a shiny until number 40 or 50ish. I lucked out like nothing else a few weeks ago. I ran into two golden Geodude's in Fire Red Version in less than 25 minutes.
Other than that slay, slay, slay.

What was your guy's most epic capture? Mine was throwing a quick ball and catching Dialga on the first turn.

Capturing a palkia with a quick ball.
Also, catching an entei with a normal old pokeball.

Girtina with a pokeball with attacking it or anything first. Or maybe when I was little playing Gold and catching Ho-oh for the first time.

I saw a shiney moltres, shame it wasn't zapados. Now all i have to do is look for it on the radar thing. Has anybody noticed that most of the shineys look worse than the regulars? Moltres looks stupid its pink

Oh, that pissed me off in Red/Blue. Get a pokemon 20 levels higher so my speed is fast enough to use sleep first. Then switch to a lower level pokemon that will do 90% damage with one attack then Pokeball. Then you find the slots and can just "win" it. Arg.
