As a kid growing up I saw a cartoon called Heavy Metal, for a kid of 14 or so in the early 80s the movie totally blew my mind. Tarna the Terakian was such a conflict with my narrow view of the cookies and band aides type of women (mom, sisters, aunts, grandmothers) that made up my world she became my first fantasy girl. A dangerous yet safe fantasy girl for a boy of 14 with little knowledge and no experience she provided a contrast to the women and girls in my life at the time. It is like when you see the older guys riding around in the Corvette, or Porsche, with the sixy buxom 19 year old in the passanger seat, that 20 years ago as a new pup turned loose on the world were both out of reach. Now 20 years later i can afford the Corvette and the buxom 19 year old for the passenger seat, but something changed. Sadly, i have become too responsible to roll the car around on the street as it was designed nor can i just roll the buxom 19 year old around on the hood as she was designed. Instead i settle for the safe consequence free blast from the past hot sixy ass kicker named Tarna revisualized with every game or story, but they are all still her in spirit. So as i toss her hot ass around in my kick ass over built drool inspiring PC i get a little flash of the past. In the geek world I am that [censored] who will spend anywhere from 2500 to 3500 dollars on collection of PC parts i will lovingly assemble. My pride and joy is my PC, it is MY Corvette, and every character i make is my buxom 19 year old for the passanger seat. I always RP them as a combination a mixture of women, taking a bit of each one, Tarna, Mrs. Smith, Laura Croft, Jinx, Vesper Lynd, Wai Lin, and yes i wil even throw in sme Judy Dench for good measure. Make no mistake though they are all eye candy for my viewing pleasure, just one more point of enjoyment i can derive from a game.
