In games like these, in which i can easily put 100+ hours and have 3th person view I will always go for a girl cause I dont wanna spend 100's of hours staring at a man's ass

I wouldn't play an RPG if I didn't intend to role play at least a little. I've never once rolled a girl character in an RPG, and I never would.

Playing in third person has never been very appealing to me. Except in Mass Effect 1 and 2, which were done so well that I would have played those games in second person if I had had to.

I always play female characters. I'm a girl in real life, so the few times I have made male characters for one reason or other I just can't 'get into' them and identify with them.

I've always made a male character in Fallout. However if I knew at the start what I found out when I picked up Veronica, I might have made a female character!

Female, pretty much always!
I'm a girl IRL, and having to play as a guy just isn't as fun for me. I svck at being manly.

And I like playing dress-up with my girl PC's... It's fun stuffing them into dresses. >:')

Always a male, It just don't feel right playing a girl for me. Probably due to the fact that i am a lad.

I play whatever floats my boat lol.
I'm never exculsively female or male though I tend to lean towards female because I'm a guy with so much sixual tension its amazing i can even focus on a game lol.
Usually I'll play one gender the first time than do the other one next time.
I picked female for my first playthrough in NV and will probably do a male next game.

I swing both ways. I usually make male characters, though. It just feels more natural to play a rough, tough, mean-as-[censored] SOB as a male. Although, I'm going to make a female assassin-esque character who sides with the Legion. She's going to be a real [censored]. She's going to slash up the prosttutes, drug dealers, and NCR scum.

Fallout is more interesting with a girl character, and you can make the player model less hideous than the guys. Even though I'm a guy I usually make girl characters in Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

I always play male, it's just to creepy for me to consider playing as a female. Why are you even spending 100 hours looking at your ass when there's alot of things to look at? :unsure2:

Indeed. It gives a nice twist, and view too

And the way you deal with Benny with Black Widow perk is just what the assassin type character i play would do :hubbahubba:

This comes up a lot, my view is: play with an opposite six character, not as an opposite six character.

As i've said before, i find playing "as myself" more awkward than with a female character, mainly because the game just doesn't allow anything close to what i would choose to do; "Screw you guys, i'm going to California!"

In all other RPGs I'm almost exclusively my own gender (male.) Something about Fallout, however - since Fallout 1 my characters just seem to "fit" better as female characters.

With Fallout 3, I found that I could never get a male character that looked quite how I'd intended. So I'm female in New Vegas, as well. The facegen, I just seem to be more successful making female characters.
