All of my bugs are on previous saves (I did not start a new game after the patch)
I have a Jasper chipset and the game is installed on my hard drive.
The pip-boy bug which affects the world map still exists. I was outside the Lucky 38 and pulled out my pip-boy to fast travel. When I selected Vault 34, the background of the world map disappeared when the confirmation window popped up. I thought it was strange and confirmed no (thinking it would maybe regenerate the map...) it didn't. All of the location points where still on it, but none of the map background details were present. Simply cycling off the world map and back to the world map regenerated the map. That is an improvement, because previously one had to put up the pip-boy and bring it back up for it to regenerate.
The pip-boy bug with the quest notes still exists. When I got to the Data tab in the pip-boy and go to Misc. it shows all the quest notes. There is an option to hit X (with default controls) to show active quest notes. A blank pages comes up no matter what quests i have selected and I'm certain i have notes on most of the quests. This is very annoying because I know I'm missing or forgetting key quest points as i move along through the game.
Ed-e got stuck on a few doorways in Vault 34. Eventually it got free. Very annoying more than anything.
Veronica and Ed-e teleported near the top of Black Mountain (and were engaged in combat) when I was sneaking up the cliffs above the switch backs. Loading the save and getting them to wait at the bottom of the mountain prevented this.
I was taking Veronica and Ed-e the back way up Black Mountain past the crater with the dead Brotherhood of Steel member. Veronica and Ed-e both got hung up repeatedly around the rim of the crater. Veronica's was way worse, she was stuck 2/3 into the ground and wouldn't even attempt to move. I sent her back to the Lucky 38 and she teleported (I hope) safely.
I've had two game freezes since this 1.2 patch. Both seemed random and I really do feel they were heat related crashes of the hardware. After letting my console cool off a little, I heard the tell-tell popping (I'm assuming that was the solder joints popping?) as the chips went through their thermal cycle. I'm not happy about the potential damage this game is causing. Fallout 3 ended up killing my last console after repeated freezes. I'm still not sure if the game specifically was at fault, but either way this is not a good thing.
