Since there focused on us having a unique character. It would be very odd if they didn't.

yeah i just didn't see anything on the char customize vid that had any place to change race and when he switched his type it changed his race so i was confused

Because that's the apparel aspect of the customisation. The screen you go to when you want to give your existing character new armour.

Hence why it's a customisation preview, not a character creation preview.

If you mean "race" as in human, dwarf, elf, etc - No - you can only be human.

If you mean "race" as in ethnicity, yes - the Ark is home to people all around the World, so you can change you ethnicity...and choice a voice pack.

Yup, I heard a Russian accent.

And yes, you can change ethnicity. I just looked at the creation vid, man I'm so excited for this game!

really you can select a type of voice for your guy?
cool cool, I'll probably pick the french accent.. people have said I have sorta of a louisiana accent, but people also say I sound black also... tho ive been told i have soul in my voice
