Is Cicero the best TES character ever? : V - Skyrim

He was okay. But he was kind of just what you expected him to be after first seeing him. An over-the-top silly but mentally unhinged jester assassin. He didn't behave in any way that surprised me, no secretive hidden slyness or anything. Then again I haven't totally finished the DB quest so maybe he does turn out to be more interesting.

Of course, I do enjoy his...ability to release tension...after having to deal with the Telvanni on business.

I didn't like it last time though...he was too rough with my [URIELSEPTIMVII]] because he didn't use enough [DREUGHWAX] before [VEHKING] my [SOTHASIL] with his [MUATRA[. Normally that would be alright, but he [MOLAGBAL]ed my arms with ropes before [VEHKTRIALAZURA]ing my windpipe.

He's certainly the most memorable character in Skyrim for me, and I think they did a great job making him. I still think either Lucien Lachance or Sheogorath from SI's is the best though

Cicero's fun, but he sounds and looks too much like a clown for me to see him as one of the best characters. He could have been more..three dimensional, imo.

In Skyrim, I like Ulfric and Paarthurnax best, but really, Vivec wins here. Most complex character in TES.

Sheogorath gets a cake for being the funniest (and most [censored]). Pelinal is the most badass.

Talos is more of a figure than a character to me. We don't know much of how he was like and that's a shame.

Cicero is indeed one of the most interesting characters in Skyrim. But personally another dark brotherhood member Lucian Lachance was one of my favourite characters in an elder scrolls game.

Whether you like him or not he certainly does stand out. I happen to think he's the best character in the whole series ever created.

His story, voice acting, animations and everything else just add up perfectly for me.

Anyone else agree?

Ah well. I'd say I would be stuck choosing between Vivec, Paarthurnax, and Divayth Fyr for my personal favorite.

Edit: I forgot about Yagrum Bagarn.

I find Cicero terrifying. I blame Chuckles from Ultima. Jesters now are all evil to me, and one that also lives to kill people... That was freaking scary when I first encountered him.

Cicero's a mere shadow of Chuckles. ... Though, Chuckles was a harlequin, he wasn't a jester.

Cicero is entertaining in his own right, but doesn't hold a candle to Vivec, Divath Fyr, Yagrum Barnum, or Sheogorath. Just the level of intellectual discourse alone* separates him from the others by a fair amount. Your mileage may vary, I suppose.

*Sheogorath notwithstanding (:
