I was quite impressed with how well my StuH 42 assualt guns did. One of them had a nice little face off with one of Saurok's Shermans, that was pretty entertaining.

Nah, only launched one firestorm.

Huh. Would have been more interesting if you had more munitions. :(

Oh man, I think I saw like 6 simultaneous shells bounce off of one of your tanks.

Oh, if we are playing against other players, chalk me up for a game at some point this week. As long as I am on the Axis team :) (I assure you I will lose)

I can only do evenings. 19:00GMT+ tonight and possibly 20:30 GMT+ tomorrow

yes, and that was only face off, because I only could get one or two of them from the bridge at time.
If AI had not blocked the bridge there would have been about 10 of my tanks at the same time.

We were only really playing against each other because there were 5 of us, so we couldn't all fit on one team. I personally prefer fighting the AI as it allows me to take things a bit more slowly.

Yeah, it was going to be 4 humans v. 4 CPUs, but then saurok wanted to join in so we had to mix it up. The match up in the end was Melvar & Mysterious Dr D & El Di4blo & Normal CPU (v) saurok & Caramelldansen & Normal CPU & Normal CPU.

After this though I'm excited about player vs player games. It was much more interesting out on the field in the early stages of the game than it usually is against CPU.

If you would wanted so, I could have been alone with AI's on another side :)

I'll be on for the next few hours or so if anybody wants to play a game. Otherwise I'll just do campaigns. Whisper me ingame or message through steam if you want to play.

I couldn't find the chat button in the beginning :embarrass:

And I wonder, is there a way to see who has left the game or something, I've got this weird feeling that I've just spend quite some time watching a cpu vs. cpu fight (in which I did see armor) yet at the end I still got gg messages.

It all makes so little sense to me :ahhh:

Enter is team chat, and Shift+Enter is global chat.

Why? Did Yacoby drop? I noticed he was saying gg pretty early on in the game, but I didn't see anything saying that he dropped...me and -dude- where there the whole game...

Guess he already knew it was over. :P

I thought it was kind of strange...someone sending all these infantry into the same killzone I had set up like it was an AI. Guess that explains it. :biglaugh:

Yeah we steamrolled pretty quickly into their territory. Though I still do not like Americans at all (as you can probably see in the replay; I was useless) :sadvaultboy:

I thought you were holding that northern point and dropping airbone everywhere while I held the rear and spammed artillery?

I guess I did yeah :P But I did waist a lot of troops with my attacks. But I was a great round nevertheless :D
We should do that more often.

That was my third or fourth time playing axis, guess I made some mistakes early on that made it really hard.
Like retreating my infantry in a bunker in which they hardly fired back, counting on the allied not having sticky-bombs yet ect.

I did use a sneaky sniper to take out some mortar and at-crews but that's just about all that worked.

Yeah your snipers were really, really annoying. Next time we'll switch, I'll be axis and you'll be allied :tops:

One of the reasons I dislike annihilate in games when not playing vs the AI is that it means they can drag on. With the amount of map control we had it would have been a slow defeat (which I dislike). I probably should have stuck it out. I will next time.

I also messed up a bit and built the wrong unit a couple of times (2 grens 1 mortar not 3 mortars :P)

I bottomed out on the score both times. :P

Don't much like urban environments though. Apparently an MG in a building cannot shoot at anything if there is a hedge next to the building, even when the building is taller than the hedge. But, sometimes I do well, and sometimes I don't.

Had fun running a few goliaths here and there though. Such a satisfying, meaty explosion.
