Creating a New Game erases your previous saves.

Are you kidding me? I really like this game so I'm not really mad but it just svcks I just lost my first character. So the point is, does anyone have a reason why this is the case? Or at least why there isn't even a disclaimer saying "Starting a New Game will erase your previous files." C'mon Man.
I noticed that starting a new character with a new save make the game run better for me on ps3 personally. Less freeze and no minor glitches or bugs

I guarantee you saved over your old one, because this doesn't happen.

I guarantee you are entirely incorrect. If you look at the entire thread you see that I found out what happened which was saved over the "Prisoner" file that the game creates just before you create a character, this in turn overwrites your last save. I've edited my OP to avoid outlandish comments such as these. How can you guarantee what I did just because you believe it "doesn't happen."

Do you see my avatar?

Yes, I play on PS3.

And this is the first thread I've EVER heard of this issue.

Which leads me to think two things :

1. You are just very unlucky, and may need to reinstall or get a new game disk.

2. User error.

I wish you luck, and highly recommend backing up your game saves for any RPG outside of your console.

Same thing to you man, just because you haven't heard of it, what? That's supposed to mean it has never happened before? Please.
