Creepist thing that's ever happened to you.

Yep, that's plenty creepy alright. There are some things that you should just take to your grave.

Hell, we're both in our 40's now, and get a laugh out of it each time it is mentioned. It's our friends that are apalled at the prospect! :ooo:

That's why I just can't understand things from a 100% skeptic point of view. For someone to say uh-uh, no way, it is impossible, these witnesses are either lying or mistaken. Simply because the skeptic has never experienced it personally, so it must be ridiculous. Well, I've never seen a narwhal in real life myself.
So teams go out, take pictures of the area (as if that means something) re-interview witnesses, and try not to snicker (as if the interviews will change anything), and then hang out in the area that something happened - as if the ghost, UFO or bigfoot is going to show itself again while the skeptic is tapping his foot.
I'm sure I could live in the arctic for a year and not see a narwhal.

We were not really skeptics, but we did not want to go at it from someone who believes that every bump and creek is a ghost. We were actually open minded about the whole thing. I have to admit every time we did hear a little bump were did the classic "what the hell was that!". If you are 1005 skeptical then what is the point of doing anything like that. I cant stand groups you see on TV who want to do nothing but prove its all in the mind.
