Am I the only one who's freaked out by the demon baby story? :cold:

Part of me would love to go urban exploring, if I was with someone knowledgeable - the other half doesn't want to die, cold and alone, in the creepiest place imaginable.

Edit: you guys should read http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/page1.html - it's been confirmed as fake, but it's still really creepy, especially towards the end.

Nope. It's human nature to be creeped out by that story.

I don't think I will. I'm freaked out enough about the demon baby story, I don't need another fear at night.

Yeah, I'm kind of a wimp :P

The blair witch project meets slenderman - there are 26 episodes plus 2 half ones, all on youtube - 26 is the scariest so far. I seriously recommend it, even though it is terrifying.

Ah, I remember reading that. Really creepy.
Though the story was fake.. I was finding the pictures of him in that tight passage pretty scary too XD I'm not really claustrophobic but in a space THAT small, I'd definitely freak.

Personally, I was way more freaked out by Episode 19.
Particularly since I was alone at the time, and it was almost time for bed. After that, I stayed awake until 6 a.m..
Why do I do these things to myself? ;3;

Also if Slendy turns-the-page showed up in my house, I'd just automatically assume it was for the purpose of playing some VIDYAH GAEMS. : D

I'm gonna have to have to draw that some time. >.>

EPIC. Seriously, I've never been to an actually haunted house, and it's one of the things I want to do before I die. Hopefully not on the DAY I die.

I know, it's pretty crazy, eh? As far as I know, that barn was never torn down as originally planned (the land is owned by the city, I think). And like I said, I haven't hung out much with that friend since then. I don't know what I find scarier - That I was so close to a real ghost or that we never got along well after it happened. Whatever happened, one of us came out of there different, you know? And it probably wasn't me. I'm a good guy, right? I try to help people where I can, going against the grain. Where'as my buddy turned into something of a pothead and a creep.

To tell you anything about them would be to ruin the effect. The best way to experience them is to go in completely blind (i.e., having no idea what's going on). Trust me on this one. That's how I did it, and I can guarantee you they wouldn't have been nearly as creepy if I'd gone and spoiled them for myself.

Speaking of, http://www.youtube.com/user/MarbleHornets See for yourself- just be sure to watch them in order.

About 12 years ago a few of my cousins and I started a group called the Skeptics. We researched old ghost stories and multiple murder sites and found the locations they took place. We would do tons of research and try to plan on the best time to visit. Typically it was a two or three day trip. We went to places like the badlands at Aza berango that stretch out to mexico, abandoned buildings and closed mental hospitals. We videotaped everything... We only did this for about two years until other things took us away form our hobby.

Apart from seeing and hearing odd things, over all it was actually fairly disappointing. The trips were fun and the exploring was awesome but overall not what we set out for. Then again we did call ourselves the skeptics. I guess we kinda set ourselves up for that one.
