Hi there Uriel Nocturne!
The OP is criticizing from the end result perspective. He doesn't need to know squat about graphics programming - and the question is pending, do you? – to know when something looks off. I myself know squat about graphics programming. I own a top of the line PC. When I'm walking about SKyrim's landscape - which I do on max settings - things, whole bridges, grass detail, tree detail, mountain detail, all keep popping up in an obtuse manner. I am not playing on Xbox 360, I am playing on a high end machine. I know squat about graphics programming yet these LOD problems are right there in front of my eyes.

I do just that every day as a graphic artist.
And second, there's a distinct difference between criticism and critique.
Critique is actually helpful and builds on itself to help the ongoing improvement process.
Criticism is just complaining for the sake of complaining without any mention of any way to improve the product (reference: see the very first post in the thread).
But as I've watched the OP try to pick apart the most minutae of detail in the game, often with nothing more to back up his arguments than "you could have done better, Beth...", it leads me to believe that there is a severe lack of human interaction and attention in his life, and he merely post threads like these in order to fill that social void in his life.
And yes, having a good reference point in graphic artistry does help make an argument as you could include very specific references as to what could be done to improve the end result/future products rather than basing a lack of knowledge off of games that he probably just likes better than Skyrim.
In this instance, the whole argument is based off of the theory that "ignorance is actually, bliss".
