i'm new to the bethesda forums,obviously due to the beta application.I browse many different forums though,but don't really post much,(obviously i will for the dawnguard beta).After reading everybodys posts especially on this thread i've noticed what a bunch of nice decent people,such a decent community.Not once have i witnessed anyone being nasty or verbally abusive or judging in any negative way, (correct me if i'm wrong,i have'nt witnessed any yet).I would like to say that even if i did'nt get picked for the beta, that for me it is still a win situation because the beta application has brought me to a wonderful community.I will definatly be visiting and posting on these forums.Thankyou and goodluck to everybody.

Not to be rude or contrary, but I would just like to point out that in my experience, I've noticed that the first thing people tend to say when they're trying to be random is related to colors, animals, food, or common household objects. Test this on people you know. Not that random in my opinion. Just sayin.

Go to 4:04 and carefully watch the top left. It says "Life Blood absorbed, vampire perk progress increased"

So maybe it's not that you unlock perks by doing specific things to unlock that perk, but rather just absorb lifeblood to then choose which perk you want?

EDIT: Happens again at 4:15

EDIT: Final confirmation on how to earn perks: 4:33 says "Kill enemies with the Drain Life or bite power attack to earn perks. Each new perk requires a few more feedings." Then it has a progress bar underneath.

Aye, con remember hear about that a few days ago in interviews and whatnot.
So, I'm assuming you'll progress in your vamp stages by avoiding to feed, whilst gaining the kick-ass perks when you go out of your way too kill.

I truly apologize for coming off like a troll as that was not my intent in the slightest. What you said had just reminded me of a conversation I had with my brother the other day about real randomness and how hard it is to actually accomplish and I was just trying to share that concept. i like the whole fighting on horse bak thing...but um...not being able to 1st person it on horseback makes useing a bow and arrow both confusing and hard...tried walking the horse backwards and somehow walked ihn circles....ANYWAYS

oh yeah to add to the odds for those desperatly hoping you got picked. Rember you must be over the age of 18 to sighn a contract such as the NDA that you all sighned when applying for the beta . So add that to your figures and the odds get much better
