Most people that participate in betas are told not to leak any information. Unfortunately, not everything goes according to plan. There will be those who leak, and if they are then punished for such actions, that is what they deserve.

Wasn't my movie reference child, and I should have multiquoted. Only the first sentence was aimed at the person I quoted, so my bad to that. It's not personal. Guy jokingly wrote "We can be Vampire Lords, or we can be LYCANS." The whole "they aren't lycans, they're werewolves" comments that followed were unnecessary. I'm just asking that the guy be allowed his joke, not condemning everyone who doesn't accept the Lycan name to death. But your concern for my happiness is appreciated.

Uh.... Yeah... The point of a beta is to help find all the bugs, bethesda will fix them as fast as possible, update the game and fix what they can.
Still get it for free so after they fix bugs it will be good and you would know you had a had in that.

It's a beta not an alpha, that means it's gone through some initial testing but it needs further extensive testing by everyday players to pick up on issues that might have been missed

If I get in, I do plan on spoiling it for a lot of people, but that's because I'm a dike. What I won't be doing is taking pictures, videos, etc. If Bethesda expect me to swear a blood oath to be silent about it... well, that to me seems more than a little silly. E3 Hype Train went of the rails and killed millions - but the Dawnguard hype train can still be salvaged.

It's a win win situation. we test it for them and report bugs and we get to keep the beta as a thank you. Don't see anything wrong with that. As long as those of us that get the beta take the time to help Bethsda out and report any problems.
