this is what happens when you give people free stuff. chaos.
People sure seem to treat it like a free ticket to Dawnguard. I wonder if most of them realise they are encouraged to report for bugs if they notice any.
I wonder if this is the competence Bethesda seeks.
Doesn't matter if someone gets picked or not for the beta.Everyone can spot bugs and send a mail to Bethesda or post here reporting the bug he/she encountered.Chill out.2 Week left <3
off topic: why is there a post limit? on topic: back to the paranoia HE HAS THE CODE!!!
There is a post limit because it helps maintain some order, and it is easier for people to follow as there aren't a lot of posts to read through in order to catch up.
I plan on playing through multiple times and reporting bugs even if i don't get the beta. There is no way that all of the bugs will be found in just a couple of weeks.
No one has a code yet, They will most likely be released tomorrow or wednesday, and i will sleep with my copy of skyrim under my pillow for luck, and also my copies of oblivion and morrowind for extra luck.
More likely than not most people probably signed up just to get Dawnguard for free. I guarantee that most people won't bother to report bugs, which is sad because those of us who signed up for legit reasons (I've beta tested a few things and even alpha tested a couple) have a much lower chance of being able to do so.
heres a thought: what if Bethesda isnt releasing a beta but instead this is just a giant troll on all of us? mfw: http://i3.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/203/685/conspiracy-keanu.jpg

Good thing I know that vampire lord is probably going to be glitchy

People complain if something is broken even if they got it for free, "Bug reports" will pop up on every forum on the internet before long. You also have to consider internal testing which I'm sure has already been going on for a while.
Doubtful. It's more likely that people read Pete's tweet that they're not looking for the "best fans" (in other words, forum activity will not contribute to your odds of being selected).
People are kidding themselves if they think he would have said anything other than that... he is the PR guy, how would that look, doesn't really mean it's not happening though. And as far as I know, he isn't the one picking beta testers. I really don't see them picking people at random unless there using a large group of beta testers.
