Don't know how Bethesda could have done it - but some of us stood in line at GameStop night of release and just want a bug free game

How many young kids lied on beta application and stated they were over 18 just to get free copy

Just want a bug free dawnguard but don't think we will be anywhere close to that

I'm curious how they chose beta testers, because I've been checking out the beta forums for about the past hour and 90% of the posters have a post count of below 100...ie new members to the forum. I guess if they chose the new members joining just for the beta, they could effectively spike up the amount of users on the forum or something? I really hope they didn't just choose all new members and ignored all the true diehard fans

I'm worried they did - loyal fans who have been around for a while will pay for dlc

Always comes down to the money with Bethesda - they know loyal fans will buy even with bugs

As I said before there are alot of people reporting what bugs they may find. Just because you weren't picked doesnt mean they didnt know what they were doing. From what I can tell most of us have reported everything we have come accross. wether it be small or large. Rest at ease

It all comes down to what the users put in their questionnaires.

If they joined a forum just to get in then i dont think its out of the question to assume that some of them may have lied on the questionnaire to get in as well.

Not necessarily. Yes, it's possible that new members that joined to sign up for the beta were fans, and maybe they've even played every single TES game that's ever came out, but let's be serious here, majority of the people who joined recently, did so only to sign up for the beta/get to play early/get free DLC. Which is smart of Beth, because they've effectively spiked up not only the hype, but the amount of members who will frequent this forum from now on, which is good for business.

I don't mind about paying for the DLC, Dawnguard is definitely worth £16.

Congratz again to those from yesterday and good luck to those today. Now, I know for those of you who applied but did not get chosen had good intentions and wanted to actually beta test, but something I just want off my chest after seeing the storm yesterday: I am actually glad some (I said some, not all. Not naming names) of you did not get in. From all the different posts of rage and flames, it proved that you only wanted the beta just because and treated the beta sign up as a lottery or giveaway.

I am not trying to put anyone down or be rude, just something I wanted to point out.

Don't get your hopes up people - odds are still severely against any of us getting selected

All about money - believe me
Who is more likely to buy dlc? Someone older who has income to buy dlc without thought and is a loyal fan or someone who probably lied on application and changed there age to 18 and more than likely have to ask their parents to buy dlc

Unfortunately there is no way to verify age - but I would like to see the numbers on how old selected recipients claimed to have been
