Congratz again to those from yesterday and good luck to those today. Now, I know for those of you who applied but did not get chosen had good intentions and wanted to actually beta test, but something I just want off my chest after seeing the storm yesterday: I am actually glad some (I said some, not all. Not naming names) of you did not get in. From all the different posts of rage and flames, it proved that you only wanted the beta just because and treated the beta sign up as a lottery or giveaway.
I am not trying to put anyone down or be rude, just something I wanted to point out.
I agree with what you are saying, although it is a minority some people turned into angry children yesterday...
There were people getting angry and just being rude about Bethesda not releasing the codes soon enough even the they never said they would go out at a specific time... There were others simply begging to be accepted, as a joke fair enough, but some people were just desperate. But what annoyed me the most was that some people felt they had some sort of entitlement to the beta. There were people saying how loyal they were to Bethesda, others saying how they persuaded their friends to buy copies, some people going on about how they had been beta testing for 20 years. The most common thing I heard was "I've been a member of the forums for years and have made thousands of posts! I deserve it more than someone who just joined yesterday"... Bravo for helping out for a long time, but this is a beta, not a reward for being a 'loyal' forum member... I would have thought that someone who has made thousands of posts and helped others in the community would not suddenly act like they had only done all of that for a reward...
Rant ended haha I wish everyone luck
