No, Werewolf and Vampire Lord perks are leveled by playing as the said transformations.

You unlock "Perks" by feeding as a vampire/ using vampiric drain, and werewolves unlock it I think by feeding and clawing people.
So yah.

Let's see.
- Flails, morningstars, capes etc. Check
- Flying mounts, ala Dragon flying. Check.
- Crossbows. Check
- Vampire lords and gargoyles. Check
- Falmer stuff. Check.
- Interesting Vampire story and lore. Check
- New Dragons. Check
- Just too many things to check off.

But the real question is... are there spears!!! :bunny:

Oh phew...now with all the news, infos.I tried both vamps&werewolves, but as we all know they were kind of a disapointment in many ways. Now that it seems that they took care of most issues. It is really hard not to try both at least once, even if i'am more into the whole werewolf aspect i'am going to try the new vamps too.I'am pleasently surprised so far by what Beth offers us with Dawnguard.

Does anyone know if horse combat pertains to only melee, or if archery and magic can be used while riding a horse? I just keep imaging my character riding through the hills of white run, slowing down time and popping arrows off at dragons.

Really?! :woot:
So feeding on other creatures will be in?!..thats great news!
NO! NO! NO! This would be lore murdering,

Hircine doesn't give a hunt's ass about animals. He wants mortal sacrifice, so he only accepts it when people die at the jaws and claws of his hounds. Why do you think werewolves needed to kill people to wake up in the morning healthy in Bloodmoon and Daggerfall? Or to continue going they devour killed people in Skyrim.

Making werewolves kill animals and feed on them to sustain themselves is not the good way to go. People want to be a werewolf, they must embrace the "penalties" that come along with it. I hope this isn't the case.

And what do you want more, sir ? :bunny:

Wild Werewolves and other Werebeasts
Ways to recontract lycanthropy
Forced lunar transformations
Volkihar that pull you under the ice
Underwater combat (to deal with the above)
A dragon with stegosaurus plates and spiked tail
Pets
Aedric questlines
Expanded guild quests

I got a lot of stuff in mind, but I'm a greedy guy.

This is more than a good start though.

Damn it, Bethedsa! Way to kill lore! Werewolves need to kill people. People! PEOPLE!

Calm down, were assuming that what "savage" feeding is...

This minus the forced transformation(maybe limit werewolf transformation to once a day would be fine i think)

You can use bows on horses, but not magic(like destruction spells).
