Spoiler
There will be new dragons to fight that will be tougher for the player. Called Legendary Dragons
-There will be a Lycanthropy tree with new powers, including the "Totem of the Moon" which shall allow werewolves to summon up other fellow werewolves. There is one called "Savage feeding" and "Animal vigor".
-The vampire Lord is named Harkon.
-Harkon's castle is named Castle Volkihar, which also can serve as a home for the player. As well as Castle Dawnguard. Players will be given a safe haven in either one of these castles. Vampiric players will be given bottles of blood that will give health and also count as "feedings."
-Skills with the crossbow count as archery.
-Harkon attempts to put an end to the sun using the ancient Elder Scrolls.
-New Dragonshout that will cause players to tear a soul and use the souless body to fight for him,
-We shall make a return to the "Soul Cairn", a realm of the dead seen in Battlespire.
-There will be a new vampiric power where you suspend a foe in the air and drain them(seen in the trailer). The player can transform at will into the vampire lord and transform back into the regular form. Players can also turn into a swarm of bats(seen in the previews).
-The Vampire Lord transformation is gained by completing quests, as the companions.
-There will be a new facial transformation feature to modify your face. Race change is not in the game, nor gender change but players shall now be able to change their appearance.
-Dawnguard is NOT meant for low-level players.
-New enemies such as Armored trolls, death hounds and legendary dragons.
-Dragonbone weapons.

There is a 'Vampire Lord' perk tree. Earn perks by using drain life or the bite power attack; each perk requires a specific amount of feedings to attain.

The monster that came through a wall in the trailer was a gargoyle.

New shouts like 'soul tear',where you steal the soul of a dead enemy and use it as a minion.

The character that can change the players face lives in Riften's ratway.

You unlock "Perks" by feeding as a vampire/ using vampiric drain, and werewolves unlock it I think by feeding and clawing people.

The way I took it was that as a vampire you need to feed and use your powers to gain perks, and as a werewolf you need to feed and maul people to earn perks.

Does anyone know if there are Aedric weapons or armor in the lore? If there is I would like to see some of those in Dawnguard used to fight those pesky vamps!

There is a power mentioned that drains souls...

I want proof instead of rumors... any site can guess anything on DLC and say it came from a good source but how many have been purely keen and percise

That came right off of Wiki on Molag Bal himself, his lore / story in TES, has nothing to do with the DLC. But I'm guessing that the part about domination, soul svcking etc...etc... on the mortal realm is what ( may ) explain why there was a shrine to him in the vampire fort.

edit: here's the link... http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Molag_Bal

They didn't add a description saying that this was one of many werewolf perks, a few more are "Animal vigor" and "totem of the moon", totem of the moon summons a friendly werewolf to assit you in battle!!!

Why is your picture so addicting?

Lol I love that there may be an easier way to level said perks.. being eighty one or five or whatever can be a pain for those attempting to buy the DLC. hmm I wonder if the new Feeding Animations will be a perk

Auriel's Shield and Bow were made by Akatosh http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Auriel%27s_Bow#Auriel.27s_Bow

And the Crusader armor made by most Divines. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Helm_of_the_Crusader#Helm_of_the_Crusader
