Dawnguard Gameinformer details #3

Those perk trees look pretty cool, as well as the fact that now you are only attacked as a Vampire in your Lord form.
What so you're not attacked at stage 4 anymore? Are you sure?

I really hope we get those cloaks you see in the trailer

@~@ Yes... Lol does the Vampire Lord look familiar to the guy from Dragon Age 2? He has the Horns and his face is pale and very Gaunt

was that a cloak/cape that head vampire was wearing? I would squeal like a little schoolgirl if they finally had cloth physics! Skyrim would be complete!

It was 30 dollars...Dawnguard is 20, and this is adding a large amount of content to the base skyrim game also...
Yea, no reason for people to complain about the price.
Maybe less landmass, but more story and features than SI

This is well worth 20 dollars.
And we still know virtually nothing about Dawnguard.

The female with the elder scroll on her back looked like she was wearing a cloak, but the head vampire guy looked to be wearing a cape,

I actually wonder why you're even on this forum. And you should try to keep it civil. If you don't agree with somebody that is perfectly fine but don't attack people personally, this is not youtube. :thanks:

I wasn't attacking anyone. i was responding to someone who i felt was attacking me with douchebaggery.

regardless, i love the [censored] out of me some TES, so this forum is the place for me. obviously.

The 1.6 patch beta adds some ini commands related to verlet (cloth) physics so I wouldn't be surprised.

As has been mentioned, I'm hoping for some new spells, though I'm sure that will come at some point anyway, whether it'sin this DLC or the next one.

I'm also hoping for some new means of becoming a werewolf! I thought it was stupid that if I want to RP as one, I have to join the Companions.

actually you can also become a werewolf in a quest located in Falkreath. though that is a different kind of werewolf situation involving a ring and its random effect. but still an alternative means. but hey even Companions method is better than Oblivion, which didn't have werewolves but it did have vampires. if anything, fans should be priviledged werewolves got their own controllable transformation ability, plus a questline tied to a Guild.

Might it be possible that the vampires in dawnguard have nothing to do with the vamps already in skyrim? Which would mean that my vampire character has to get rid of his Vampirism in order to get the ''new'' vampirism? It would make absolutely no sense but still worries me...

The main thing I still want to know is if there will be a new area on the map.

I agree. I hope it is a new area.

I'm also very pleased that there is a new type of dragon

I still wonder if Molag has a role in this... His head is on that shrine and it irks me not knowing why

Nah, I think most have called it right and it's us werewolves who need to think about swapping sides. :whisper:

it talks about becoming a vampire lord, I know this refers mainly to the new powers but I wonder if you will also get a rank within this new vampiric area, maybe also have the ability to gain ranks?

uh thats what i said i was doing so thanks for your permission? i guess?
not to be a [censored] but that was kind of [censored].
first off, the whole vampire werewolf thing was gay from the start.
the only thing about the expansion that i am remotely excited for is the "barber" which is actually useless on PC. really, there's nothing in this new DLC that I find worth $20 when most of it can be done via modding. so herpa derp mawfuccccccckaa

If the the flying mounts are in the DLC,i really wonder how they solved the problem with the city placeholders(as we know the cities are empty when you're outside of them and look inside the walls).
Inviso walls maybe?
