Fond of Battlespire?

Currently watching a walkthrough of it on Youtube as I can't buy it. Not to mention I'd love to see what the place looks like in today's graphics.

Hopefully with the new fortresses we will be able to upgrade them like Battlethorn castle and the vile lair.

I'm still hoping we eventually get the morrowind style strongholds. Battlethorn was basically a watered down version of the massive estates you built in morrowind. I'd like to see that expanded on. Even made a thread about it: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1377449-we-should-get-strongholds/page__hl__we%20should%20get%20strongholds

Fine don't buy it, don't get all the new features that don't have any think to do with vampires and just wait for your "Next" DLC...

uh thats what i said i was doing so thanks for your permission? i guess?
not to be a [censored] but that was kind of [censored].
first off, the whole vampire werewolf thing was gay from the start.
the only thing about the expansion that i am remotely excited for is the "barber" which is actually useless on PC. really, there's nothing in this new DLC that I find worth $20 when most of it can be done via modding. so herpa derp mawfuccccccckaa

Yep. There is a person who is doing a playthrough of every TES game besides the mobile games. He is currently doing Battlespire.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tzmyv1KHW6o

He is currently starting level 5 in Battlespire. After Battlespire he will upload Redguard. (Which will make him the only one with a playthrough of Redguard on Youtube).

EDIT: This feels like an ad. I'm just trying to help Stordrage out! :P

Has anyone played purely as a Vampire? Became one and than lasted the entire time you played the account?

I think it is level10 but it's probably better to be in 20ies to start Dawnguard. They say level 10 is recommended.

Well seems that on that article they say that The DLC for PS3 and PC may come several months after the initial release for Xbox ...

Also it mentions that werewolves can use a howl to call an ally to fight with them
a new shout to rise minions to fight for you
the dragonbone weapons
playable from level 10 up
no spell combato on horse

Honestly I expected much more like

seasonal foliage
spears
werebears
verlet surfaces
SSAO
Snow footprints
goblins
snowelves improvements
I'm still trying to figure out how that's going to work exactly, since there pretty much aren't any wild lycanthropes in Skyrim. I'm willing to bet that if it is for getting other werewolves to join up with you, then they probably spawn in the same way as would a ghost or an atronach or something. There is the possibility that they may add feral werewolves as encounter creatures/NPCs, but I seriously doubt it though considering the lore on lycanthropy in Skyrim has already been retconned so that it was all just a myth that Skyrim has the largest population of lycanthropes in Tamriel. Then again, the vampires being featured in Dawnguard are Volkihar, so I guess the addition of wild lycanthropes is possible.
As has been mentioned, I'm hoping for some new spells, though I'm sure that will come at some point anyway, whether it'sin this DLC or the next one.

I'm also hoping for some new means of becoming a werewolf! I thought it was stupid that if I want to RP as one, I have to join the Companions.
I probably wouldn't hold my breath on that, at least not for Dawnguard. I'm pretty sure werewolves are not getting anything besides the perk tree in Dawnguard. Maybe in a later DLC, since I'm sure there will still be some complaints about things like this, but for now, the perk tree has pretty much been the only audible demand for werewolves for the past several months. Dawnguard looks pretty awesome so far, though. Interested in seeing what the perks will do.
