Well seems that on that article they say that The DLC for PS3 and PC may come several months after the initial release for Xbox ...
Also it mentions that werewolves can use a howl to call an ally to fight with them
a new shout to rise minions to fight for you
the dragonbone weapons
playable from level 10 up
no spell combato on horse
Honestly I expected much more like
seasonal foliage
spears
werebears
verlet surfaces
SSAO
Snow footprints
goblins
snowelves improvements
I'm still trying to figure out how that's going to work exactly, since there pretty much aren't any wild lycanthropes in Skyrim. I'm willing to bet that if it is for getting other werewolves to join up with you, then they probably spawn in the same way as would a ghost or an atronach or something. There is the possibility that they may add feral werewolves as encounter creatures/NPCs, but I seriously doubt it though considering the lore on lycanthropy in Skyrim has already been retconned so that it was all just a myth that Skyrim has the largest population of lycanthropes in Tamriel. Then again, the vampires being featured in Dawnguard are Volkihar, so I guess the addition of wild lycanthropes is possible.
As has been mentioned, I'm hoping for some new spells, though I'm sure that will come at some point anyway, whether it'sin this DLC or the next one.
I'm also hoping for some new means of becoming a werewolf! I thought it was stupid that if I want to RP as one, I have to join the Companions.
I probably wouldn't hold my breath on that, at least not for Dawnguard. I'm pretty sure werewolves are not getting anything besides the perk tree in Dawnguard. Maybe in a later DLC, since I'm sure there will still be some complaints about things like this, but for now, the perk tree has pretty much been the only audible demand for werewolves for the past several months. Dawnguard looks pretty awesome so far, though. Interested in seeing what the perks will do.
