[RELz] Deadly Dragons

Supposedly they've fixed the BSA issue, now they load in the same order as your plug-ins. (That's what Wrinkly Ninja said Gstaff said the devs said)
Yeah, I got that about 10 mins after posting. I still prefer loose files though.

Also, just wanted to say, DDHard, level 40, Alduin - I lasted about 7 seconds :blush: . Gonna need better enchantments :devil:

I'm planning on starting a new game with this, as of right now, 3.0.3 beta is the most current. Is this stable enough, or should I go with the last official release?
also, is the "optional plugin standalone" for the current beta, or the last released under the old section on the nexus?

NB - This is a good thing!

Ive been using http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=247, its pretty basic but gets the job done. I also unpack every mod that uses a BSA and install it with Smash instead :P

Well I tried BSAopt but as far as I could see, I could only change the BSA packing compression, not unpack anything. I really want to mess with the base and high(ish) rez vanilla BSAs, but as everything on SW gets BSAed, I'm gonna need something to sort them out.

Fallout Mod Manager , bsa browser can unpack bsa that is what I use, the ck archive utility has well..

for packing bsa in correct format use the archive utility that the ck comes with that is used to pack things for steamworks..

It does, but you need to select an existing folder for it to output to otherwise it defaults to "repack" mode(I use an "out" folder on my desktop for stuff like this). Its very lightweight when it comes to features and options :tongue:, but as Corepc mentioned a lot of people use Fallout Mod Manager to unpack BSAs and iirc its got a friendlier UI.

I would like to know if this mod works well with Warzones & Wars in Skyrim. I have both, but my Dragons are now kind a weak (I'm level 63), so I want to use Deadly Dragons, but I'm afraid that this mod will conflict with some mods I have (in BOLD below)

i like the update 3.1.0 for dd but the events now happen way too quick imo, prefer the events in days not hours

So this mod looks great, and I think it will provide me with quite a challenge BUT.. I'm going to have to disable it for now. My character is a level 5 Destruction/Illusion-based mage and I keep getting one-shotted by the dragons. I fought the storyline one at the beginning just fine (no mod), but after installing the mod I've been getting pooped on. I'm playing on Expert with one of the magic expansion mods, so I don't know how much those affect it, but I will definitely be coming back to this mod once I get set up a bit more. I've "completed" two characters already so this time I was looking for more of a challenge, but I think I may have bit off a bit more than I could chew with this mod.

Know what you mean, im playing on adept and my lvl 20 char with 65 one hand skill doesnt stand a chance against a dragon, this is with DD's lowest difficulty.

I'm a fan of this mod. Dragons are appropriately brutal and I wouldn't survive without my auto-potion mod (automatically drinks potions if my health, magicka or stamina fall below certain levels) to keep me alive. I see a dragon and if I don't have 20 or so healing potions on me, I run away screaming like a little girl.

for some reason I can't access the deadly dragons configurations. I go to the spells part and try to select the deadly dragons config. But I can't cast it? I can't access it but I see it in the menu.

Feature suggestion:

- Bring back the ability to reforge one type of item into another at the smelter (been missing since 2.9.5)

- New Recipe: Dragon Soul Gem -> Consumable Soul (Adds one dragon soul when consumed. Basically, useful for those of us who have excess dragon soul gems lying around and don't use them for anything and/or want more souls to trade and/or use for unlocking shouts early on and/or for other mods that make use of dragon souls (IE Thu'um followers).)

Speaking of armors/clothes.... is it just me, or have they been appearing a lot less since 3.1? Maybe it's an issue with tytanis, but they still have dragon tokens on them so I dunno. Speaking of tytanis too, on the front page it says there's a patch for it, but there doesn't seem to be any when I look in the download folders or on the optional files section of the download page. where is it?

there's no need for patch, DD doesn't modify loot tables
tokens can be exchanged to armor piece in Hall of the Dead in Whiterun

Coming back from Oblivion to Skyrim this weekend and wanted to try the latest version of this mod. I had played with DD+PISE+WiS+Warzones and enjoyed it immensely but did run into a situation, specifically in Riften, where I was inside Riften and an Elder Dragon attacked, wiping out most of the outdoor merchants, guards and NPCs (including the smith and Arin - Moll's companion). The smith was replaced by his appentice so no big deal. Came back a week later and anothe Elder Dragon attacked wiping out more NPCs, including the girl that gives you the quest to get quantity of 20 of three ingredients. Left Skyrim after that for Oblivion.

Having written all that, what can I expect in regards to a situation like this? I would assume these named NPCs respawn but do not know, and as I was not in the middle of any of their quests, I do not know if this would break them, maybe for good. Has anyone dealt with this situation?
