Yes for Globlins.

Don't want Goblins? Don't play as one. Simple.

you only have an opinion of the series if youve played every single game? thats the biggest joke ive ever heard. I havent played arena or redguard. because im not a pirater and dont dl games, since you can only legally obtain redguard via floppy disc. daggerfall has over 200 hours clocked. battlespire over 50. morrowind over 1500. oblivion only about 200 bc it was a horrendous game. skyrim over 300 and going strong because its downright fun. looks like your rant is void.

If you played Redguard back in the day, you would have had a legal copy. I've been with this series since Day 1. The greatest series ever.

Your rant is void if you've only played Skyrim.

Why? Because I'm not a 'vet' and and therefore don't know anything? Oh how sad you are.

Doesn't matter. What matters is that this series is headed for destruction. Look at everything that's been gutted. The intense streamlining is killing the series.

In that case, you are old enough to be doing something more productive than spewing bile on a video game forum, over and over again. Seriously, grow the hell up.

Or perhaps they brought RPGs into the 21st century? Perhaps they offered the players something new because, eventually, the same old ideas recycled over and over would have killed the series.

Goblins? Sure.

Mudcrab? Was pretty normal.

Turning around then Mrs. Mudcrab saying "You bastard, its time to die!" Jaw dropping.

Now thinking of it, I'd hate to see the coffee bill they send to the director of their project.

seems to me like the main event isn't the main event anymore, as people have obviously moved on passed the mundane irratating gameplay of previous tes games, such as daggerfall and battlespire. those games were fun, but only if you devoted serious time to them to get amazing at the game. then it became fun. bethesda realizes how stupid that is, and now makes games so people actually, you know, have fun and stuff. that apparently doesn't bode well for the main event, a guy who uses dice rolls to figure out his toppings at Subway. Eat fresh bro, and learn to get with the times.

Nah. I loved the goblins in Oblivion- they were big, they were vicious, they came in packs and boy.. did they surprise/scare you.
I get this feeling with the falmer in Skyrim, yet they're less open and just way more creepy in their habits. But yeah, I'd appreciate to see the
old goblins more than these Warhammer inspired ones. As goblins in TES are not cannon fodder, they are ferocious beasts you actually fear.

This x10. I haven't played MW3 because I've already played MW1, and a bit of 2 before I realised it was the same. It's the same story with Battlefield, and TES. I have played Oblivion & Morrowind, and perhaps some may like to play Skyrim in exactly the same way as the sacred Morrowind, most wouldn't.Things change. A lot of previous TES games was redundant. It's how the world works.

me? because daggerfall was my first TES game, and that floppy stayed in my drive for a long time. after morrowind was released, i didn't see the need to play arena. i have since played battlespire though, and it's more or less the same game as daggerfall with a different style and story. while it was fun (especially the heavy daedric feel) i still see no point in playing arena.

I regret buying MW3 for this very reason. I wouldn't have bought Skyrim if I thought I could get the same for a lower price by buying Oblivion, although I am now thinking of buying Oblivion because if how GOOD Skyrim is!

You should give Arena a try Skaal, since you're well versed in the others. Well minus Redguard.

Nah, I didn't fall in love with them, but I support any additions to the beastiary(to a reasonable degree. I don't like the over-the-top vampire lord with wings).

Not really, But Falmer are, in my opinion, cooler than goblins.
Also have a much better story line.
