...Uh, 'cause we predicted ahead of time, making ceramic radiation shields? Besides, there's different kinds of radiation. They'd only get exposed to ball-crushing amounts of dangerous gamma radiation (the Hollywood kind, so to speak) when the sun acted up.

I pray that when we, or any country, first land humans on Mars, that isn't called fake too. There has to be a point where humanity stops being so cynical towards itself that it doesn't call every monumental achievement in the progress of our species fake.

Conspiracy theories are annoying, especially since they sometimes do a pretty good job of trying to convince you that they're solid claims. I won't say they're all bull, but I'm pretty sure we've made it to the moon, otherwise all of that funding NASA is getting is being horribly wasted.

According to the three major theories, the correspondence, the coherence and the pragmatic theories of truth, we did go to the moon. It sounds reasonable as we certainly had the technology, we have technology to prove that we left man-made object on the moon and it works, and if you pile up enough money you can pay the Russians to take you to the moon. We have the flight recordings of the mission and the equipment can be tested to give correct data. So why shouldn't it be true?

It all boils down to whether or not you believe in what is said in the media or by the authorities.

Personally, whenever a site looks like that (solid black background with green font) it's usually about a conspiracy theory or aliens, so when I see that kind of site I immediately close the page. :shrug:

The technology made huge progress ,yet we couldn't do it again.

It's like this: I haven't been to Egypt, but that doesn't mean I can't go there.

And why's that?

Because if the message on your site is so important you can take more than 2 minutes to design it and make it presentable.

Well, we did go to the moon, but what we found was basically this:

There's nothing there. It's the Moon.

I believe the determination not to spend money on going back was a wise one. There are much more interesting places to explore, and the only reason to go back to the Moon was to funnel money to well-connected aerospace contractors.

The moon can't be used by any country for military purposes. Outer Space Treaty and what not.
