Personally, I don't mind getting brought up it multiple times. It's the more interesting dichotomy in the game imo. More than Cloaks vs Imperials.

Or just make them non essential, kill them, and drag their limp bodies to the kitchen table.

Their's a way to make them non essential on the x-box? I didn't think their was a way to do anything except maybe get them stuck in the side of a mt.

No, you can't. It was a recommendation of a second option in your "If I had a PC" line of thought. It would be nice if we could on 360, though.

I wouldn't sympathize with a man or woman for murdering a thousand people and feeling guilty. And I won't start with a dragon either. What you do sticks with you until you die.

You know in RL I might not sympathize with a person murdering even one person (ok I can think of a reason or two). But 1000 plus years later after changeing the way you live and your nature at that, yes I can sympathize with that. Their is a difference between revenge and Justice. I can see it being justice up to a point and 1000 yrs later is not it. Plus even back in the day he helped mankind. JMO

Fresh post means fresh ideas, not clowded with previous thoughts. Didn't break any rules that I know of, and I'm really happy with the response we've gotten here. People got talking. I like it. If anyone doesn't like the thread, they don't have to file through the posts.

I don't see it as just a matter of sympathy, but whether you think his goals are worthy as well. Some characters I'd make would think peace is an overrated concept, let alone peace with dragons. And the best way to cut to the chase is kill the only apparently good dragon around. That pretty much spells no hope for communication for any of them, if you can do that. Others would give him a chance, but be doubtful. Some would sit at his knees and think he's doing the right thing.

I didn't kill the P-nax. He's too cool. Besides, we're the Dragonborn and if he acts up, we'll be there to deal with him. I also avoided beating Esbern and Delphine senseless.

Why?

I can sympathize with the Blades, in part because they've seen their entire order demolished, spent thirty years on the run from a group of people on a mission to kill them after a long, horrible, drawn out torture session. Delphine was twenty-five when the war happened. She spent the prime of her life on the run, never stopping, always looking over her shoulder to make sure that the one Altmer she's seeing isn't secretly a Thalmor. Plus, the Empire she used to serve replaced the Blades with another protectorate group and worse, bowed down to the Thalmor.

Any reason why they're so bitter? The entire world pretty much flipped them the middle finger.

Was it wrong for them to act so black/white? Was it wrong for them to try and force Dragonborn to do what they say? Yes. They should've remembered that they serve the Dragonborn, not the other way around. They should've trusted that we knew what we were doing, and let us decide.

I get what you are saying and I do agree with everything but I would think that being persecuted and hunted down like animals and slaughtered would oddly resemble what they are doing to the dragon's, especially the one dragon that made it even possible for the human race to break the bonds of Alduin's tyrany. If it wasn't for him, there wouldn't have been been Blades, the Empire, or humans at all, not if Alduin had his way. I do sympathize with their plight, but I won't let their clouded judgement and misguided reasoning affect my personal stance on what is good and bad. At least on this build. Next build, dudes toast. Love the guy, great charchter, but I have to try everything. msmock87=completionist.

That's sort of like a running theme in the game... the contradictions and hypocrisy in different sides. Blades get persecuted, but want to wipe out dragons in return. Stormcloaks feel persecuted, but some tend to look down or harass non-Nords. And if there is any truth at all to the bear of markarth, then they outright execute even Nords, teenager age even, who don't help them.

As for the chance of P-Nax acting up at some later time, that almost sounds like a more tragic death for him. I could see it happening too. Something about being in the outside, facing disappointment from his kin, might cause him to gradually get frustrated.. might get him to forcefully want them to stop... until he reverts back to his darker domineering side.

I did the same thing, less using Unrelenting Force on Delphine, but we were inside so it's not as funn as knocking them off the top of a mountain. I'll try it the next time I'm bored though.
I didn't kill them but I didn't join the blade either I can't kill Paarthurnax he to cool.

knocking them off the top of a mountain with Unrelenting Force soinds like it be fun and funny.

here is my opinion, the Dovahkiin is the ultimate dragonslayer, not the Grandmaster of the blades. look at martin or any of the Septims, Even Talos. Think, were any of them the Leader of the Blades, i do not think so. I believe the Leadership of the blades is meant to be given to the person with the most experience, right now that is Delphine. the only reason they Serve the DK is because he/she (Dovahkiin can be female) can use the voice without training and they are the only one that can Kill a dragon for good.

that being said i have no clue what i will do, because i do not play very often, so i will just wing it.
