Dissapointed to the end of my soul.

I played the dlc. It was hard, annoying, frustrating, took me out of my skin at some points and then at the end i though theres no possible way this can get worse and yet it did get worse... WORSE like world's biggest fail, that worse. If i compare FO3's worse DLC (atleast for me) The Pitt to this i can say I enjoyed the Pitt so much more than this, that i love it. Why cant we just get another point lookout or something with aliens... I just gave 10 buks and i sincerly regred about spending them on games instead of something with more value(or no value it will be much more again).

This was a great DLC, the fact that it was hard made it a fun challenging.

I haven't even gotten into the place yet. I've been doing all of the stuff in the Villa and I was playing for a few hours. Just exploring, mostly. I think the reason so many people don't like the DLC is because it's too story heavy. So. Many. Dialogue. Options.

EDIT: I mean, I love the fact that it's story heavy.

Also greatly enjoyed it here. It's not even a set-up I tend to enjoy in most games (being "trapped" like a rat in a maze sorta) but this was really well pulled off, and the story and writing are sublime. Easily the best Fallout DLC yet if you ask me.

oy vey, i'm with the OP, the pitt was awesome, but dead money was beyond stupid, if i wanted to work on my puzzlesolving i'll pick up a rubiks cube, by the way, dead money is only rated at 6.5 ROFL, so i know some hardcoe puzzleplayers prob like the dlc but overall it does svck, its super annoying and just plain lame really, not only that, it was so stupid of a dlc i won't spend one more penny on any more dlcs from obsidian, the base game is bad enough with its static world without even one random encounter, so unless they make the regular game a lot better with a dlc for that, my guess is not many people are gonna being buying more dlcs for a game that has very little replay value, especially if they are gonna be like dead money.

Its the best dlc ever its challenging hard and best of all it makes you think and strategize and ration stimpacks which is awesome!
its just a lot of 10 years olds play the game and complain all the time.

By the way, dead money is only rated at 6.5 ROFL.

For the love of ghoul Bruce Willis ratings don't mean crap!

He pours so much salt on ratings only to give support that tastes like raw sodium.

1. This is all just your opinion
2. Ratings don't mean [censored].
3. The base game is great IMO
4. People will keep buying the DLC
5. I like Dead Money. That is my opinion. Which is right.

Give this man a medal.

I'm sorry but your post doesn't explain your reasons well. You don't like it because it's hard? Well tone down the difficulty or build your character better. Apart from that I don't see an argument here.

Also slightly off-topic, aliens are lame in my [censored] opinion.

I wish they'd give the Fallout license to the guys working on the 2238 mod, now those guys know how to make a good game.
But non-frustrating?
Hell no!
Fallout games should be hard as hell.
They all were up until Bethesda got their hand on it and made FO3.
(NV was hard for the first playthrough but after that it became cakewalk.)
