Ok hands down the most funny but disturbing moment Ive ever seen in any game. I was cleaning up the human sacrifice fanatics the Forsworn Looters at the Broken Tower Redoubt, inside the tower i severed one head out of 10 or so kills then about 20 minutes later proceeded outside to clean up any stragglers. I'm walking around and I here something like a rattle sound and look about 30 feet to my left were the entrance door is to the tower and I see something moving on the ground that starts moving toward me. I first thought it was some kind of spider or insect I had not seen in-game yet then as it got closer I drew my bow and then crapped my pants, it was the [censored] head that I severed inside the tower 20 minutes earlier, I picked it up and threw it and it came rolling back after me until I stuck it with a few elven arrows...I do know the Forsworn psychos practice human sacrifice rituals maybe they found a way to make a severed head come back to life...LOL
Needless to say I started drinking early today....
PS... Damn head reminded me of the original movie "The Thing" were that dudes head sprouts spider legs and starts running away
This is strange. But I'm sorry, I call BS on this. Cool though.
Does sound a little far-fetched, but then again I did walk though a dungeon I cleared only to find the bodies of all those that I killed breathing and flinching, making very disturbing thumping sounds against the walls and floors. I got the hell out of there.

Sounds like Necrophilia to me... But I don't really believe this OP. Sorry.
how do you throw a severed head though? i can't even pick them up because the seem magnetically attached to the ground or something can roll em just fine but can't pick them up for the life of me
It's just the physics engine being weird, I saw a tomato roll off a plate in my Solitude house, and when I put it back it rolled off again (several times).
I've seen some crazy Havok behavior, but nothing that creepy. Funniest was killing a bandit only to have her fall face first, butt in the air, and slide down the hill like a toboggan for about 100 feet.
In my game a severed head started rolling along a road, it was rolling along, turns and all, until it apparently rolled too far from the body and disapperead
Actually i had my fair share of experiences. For example a random drauger I blasted to death that died (and is lootable) but remains standing and making sounds. Its really strange. -___-

Are you sure your house wasn't built over an indian cemetery?
I've had similar behavior when I disabled v-synch. Most memorable were the mech spiders going babgbangbangbangbangbang...it was annoying until I got to the bottom of it, which was to re-enable v-synch (for me and my system)
To all the Thing fans, and I can't recall what documentary it was, Mr. Carpenter stated that the head was a one-off and it(spider-head) was destroyed(we all know this) but there are no "surviving" ones in existence.
They had once chance to nail the scene, and it was a success.
Palmer with that look on his face: "you gotta be cluckin' kidding me!"
This is totally believable. I've often seen dead bodies flipping about on the ground and sometimes moving in various directions. Even if I shot it or hit it it just keeps going till it despawns.
