The new unique pistol for Honest Hearts has Greek written on the side of it

Those are definitely Greek letters, probably a Bible passage of some sort based off the theme of the game.

I think that's just a movie quote though.

I feel like a bible quote would be more likely, but it's greek so idk.

That quote from the Trailer would fit nicely:
"I am the right hand of the Lord, and the instrument of his vengeance."

Close, it's: κα? ? σκοτ?α α?τ? ο? κατ?λαβεν and web translators come up with something very close to what your friend says:

and Scotland was possessed Procedure

Thanks for correcting that fatal error, Cookie. Obviously, 300 is a work of fiction, but it did retain a lot of the original story of the battle.

This is the whole phrase:

And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

I'm betting 20 NCR bucks that the other side of the slide says the first part of the quote.

It's got nothing to do with Scotland. The online translators wanted to change the third word "skotia" from common (pre-medevil) greek to to modern greek "scwtia" = "Scotland". It properly translates to:

skotia (skot-ee'-ah): dimness, obscurity -- dark(-ness).

I don't think anyone said it wasn't. I happen to have a bit Scot in my ancestry also. As well as English, Welsh, Irish, French, German and a bunch of the Scandinavian countries. But noone said anything bad about Scotland.
