Dwemer abuducted by aliens

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 5:22 pm

I have an interesting theory/idea for the dwarven lore or (hopefully) DLC. My theory on the Dwarves is that they were infact abducted by aliens together as a race. Nirn isn't the only planet in the solar system, so its possible that there is life on other worlds. The aliens would have recognized that the Dwarves were WAY ahead of all the other races in terms of technology and science and should live with the aliens. I know this sounds crazy, but I personally think this would make an awesome DLC where the Dragonborn manages to find this information out and go to the alien-dwemer civilization. I know it sounds a lot like Mothership Zeta, but wouldn't it be awesome to finally uncover the dwemer mystery???

Maybe there were no Dwemer and the ruins transcend time, self building and self decaying.

I think they got together and decided to mess with the lesser races and hide, they were gonna jump out together and shout boo but got bored. They are all on a beach somewhere sipping cocktails and chilling. Occasionally they put on invisibility suits and come back observing the others much as we would a monkey in a zoo.

Aliens work too.

If Beth picked either of those two the lore forum would still tell them just how wrong they are.

Yeah that's a cool idea, but what would be the point of them building it?

No Dovahkiin, YOU ARE THE DWEMER! And then Dovahkiin was Dwemer.

Sorry, I really can't tell if this is serious or not. :)

I read Elder Scrolls Lore for about 7 hours today, and I even read up on several of the popular Elder Scrolls Conspiracy theories. From what I understand the Dwemer were cast out of time in a similar way Alduin was.

That may not necessarily be true. Alduin was cast out of time and he came back. Maybe the Dwemer will reappear sometime in the Fifth Era in a future Elder Scrolls game?

You seem to have not the slightest inclination of who the Dwemer are and the nature of Nirn and surrounding stellar bodies.

But I will give you this.

You'd hope but internet + opinion + having to be right = serious business.

I doubt Beth have had the exact same writing team from day 1, maybe they didn't plan for 4 sequels in the early days and stuff got cut so I'm sure there will be plenty of contradiction to call them on. Someone will.

TES 6: The Burning Crusade?

I'm not really sure what this means.

That TES 6 will be the best game in the franchise?

Yeah, It's sad how some people would prefer their restricting ideas to maybe a broader, expansive storyline. But in their minds its the reverse, so its a neverending story.
