Easter Eggs! Part Two...

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 8:04 pm

The wreck of a vehicle with a flux capititor in it, two skeletons and a recording saying 'Great Scott, didn't know about the nukes!'

Two skeletons in tattered remains of black and white suits, with the hats like those worn in the 1920s/1930s on their heads, and a recording saying 'Well that's another fine mess you got us into"

A console called The Nuka 360 in a random house

Two skeletons near to Area 51, if that's going to be in the game, wearing suits and have FBI ID's and the tattered remains of hair, one of the skeletons having the remains of red hair.

... Is there a hole next to them that leads to a train full of alien bodies?
If so, GOD YES!
I love the x-files. :D

Any confirmation of some type of coast? If so, I want some Surfer Ghouls. Perhaps a "Surf Off" with a fat Samoan Ghoul Kahuna.

That would work, maybe exploring the train car, while trying not to be creeped out, could get a joke item called Super Soldier Serum and a good amount of ammo and a packet of packet of cigarettes in a red and white packing.

Other easter eggs: a wooden stake with words craved out saying 'Slayer was nuked here'

Encountering a ghoul who sings 'Hound Dog' or some Elvis song, even does the moves and has an Elvis wig.

Finding an old rifle and a skeleton, with a note saying 'Got you at last, Blondie'

Finding a metal skeleton with a note saying 'Try healing from that'

But for it to fly out of the sky would be weird since it happened 3 years ago.

You mean with it sort of circling earth like a satellite before coming to close to the atmosphere and gravity kicks in?
Didn't think of that. :P Thanks for the correction.

Considering how the voice cast, I would want some Friends, Hellboy, Machete, Chuck, and Star Trek easter eggs. In fact, considering how about a third of the cast have been on Star Trek, they can't not have some Trek easter eggs. They should at least have a bat'leth or a phaser, or have someone say, "today is a good day to die."

I would like to see .....A rather buff looking wastelander Talking about "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all out of bubblegum... if you happen to give him bubblegum or kill him you get some really cool shades

(They Live )

This.
Words can't describe how much I love this idea.

And also,
A ghoul named George A. Romero would be a nice addition in my opinion.
For those of you who don't know who George A. Romero the wiki is here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_A._Romero

Have the choice to intervene in a Duel with the option to say

"I'm ya huckleberry."

YES! Finally a Tombstone reference.

How about this. The first time you get hammered at a bar and walk outside, there's a man waiting with a knife who says, "Heh, you're probably so drunk you're seeing doubles." That's when you take out a double barrel shotgun and say "I have two shells, one for each of ya."

Its not how it went in the movie, buts it'd be pretty cool.

My idea for an Easter Egg would be to have two ghouls named "Sigmund and Ray" with two ghoulified white lions. That or a creepy as hell Cirque de Sole type of thing in a cave in the desert. As if it wasn't creepy enough.

How about a wandering talking Deathclaw? It'll give you various tidbits of advice. Or something like Ma'liq (???) the Liar from the Elder Scrolls?

This is the second thread about Easter Eggs we'd like to see in FNV.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but:

Finding a destroyed red convertible with two skeletons in it, one wearing a white bucket hat and floral shirt. You open the trunk and find a suitcase full of buffouts, stimpacks and other drugs.

Or you find a ghoul holding a similar suitcase, hat/shirt and aviators who when you talk to says something like 'It's not safe here, this is bat country!' then runs off leaving the suitcase with you.

Have a singer called Vic Fontaine in one of the casino's (The Tops perhaps? seeing as it is a Rat-pack style casino) (Star Trek DS:9 reference)

But as for an actual easter egg, how about you can get a Frankenstien companion, and on the quest in wich you had to do to get him goes something like this: You find a bunch of keys scattered over the wastes, once you find all keys, a map marker will be added, it will be off the map. You go to the marker and find a castle, in that castle, there is a locked basemant, and if you had all the keys (wich if you stumbled upon this place by accident it would be very odd) you can go in there. You will find the notes of a Doctor, describing how he tryed to create life ect ect. near a skeleton in the basemant. Then you must go grave robbing at some churches, collect enough body parts, and steal the brain of H.P. Lovecraft from a brotherhood base camp, then once all this is done, return to the castle, to the basemant, and place all the parts on the table in the shape of a human...and wulah!!!!! Youve got your own personal Frankenstien!!!!

Only three?
Man they should be their own faction.

Never understood why they didn't include them.
Looks awesome.

Maybe that when you get your first house, you would see markings on a wall that say:
Brooks was here. And so was Red.

In two different handwritings.
