during hurricane frances, we lost power for 12 days. not fun at all. iirc, that was back in '05 -- we had 3 'canes hit in 5 weeks time.

From what I gather it won't be that bad. I just want it to happen already. My boyfriend keeps going on about how I have to be careful etc and I'm going crazy.
