Easy Game? Hah!

Yea, playing on Master has certainly put me in some frustrating situations, but I like it.

yes...definatly i cant take 1 hit and im dead with my vamp build its very fun i have to use calm / fury to stay alive in packed situations.

i went to the Dragon Lair near Morthal two nights ago and fighting him in daylight was terrible i think about 500 arrows later he was dead, obviously alot missed! i was running around the rocks / stairs kiting a frost troll at the same time until the dragon caught him with his frost breath followed by my fire rune trap.

master difficulty is the way to go it is so incredibly fun, granted ive never played sword and board or berserker types so no idea how they fair probably get easy i imagine again, mages are a challenge on master too but then again im still only lvl 12 with him haha.

So I started playing on Master difficulty as a Dark Elf Rogue. Dual Blade, light armour, you know that shtuff. Anyways, over the last few months I have been reading about how easy the game is. EFFFF THAT! It was easy until I got to Bleakfalls barrows(or whatever), I died 8 times, ran out of every single potion I made and bought, and...... I am not playing as a rogue any more, My restoration and block skills are through the roof.

ANYWAYS

Not a complaint I am loving it, I have been playing on the edge of my computer chair, which is frustrating because I need a new one and it keeps going all the way down when I dont sit properly and all

Anyone else having this much fun!?!?!!?

yup, master level is real fun and difficult. when people say its too easy probably they never tried it or they change it to adept during hard fights or they use exploits to have overpowered armors and weapons, if you play it legit is a good challenge

when fighting In any difficulty lower than master all i did was stand and take the beating until it landed; in master i was "obliged" in a term to hide behind a rock or get roasted :D

Oh snap. Leveling up is an exploit now.

Using in-game means to get "OP" armor and weapons is considered "cheating" while using mods to, for example, "fix" destruction is not.

Make up your minds

Depending on the character the game is not easy on Master. At least not at lower levels.

Because you can easily be one hit killed. It does get easier at higher levels but even then there are challenges, particularly if you're not careful.

Depending on the character around levels 30-40 I really start to feel that my character can handle the challenges if he or she is careful. Before that things can be very difficult on Master. Particularly if you remotely role play.

But the game should get easier at as you increase your character. Because your character is getting more powerful (hopefully). The only way to keep in challanging at higher levels is to have the world change significantly when your character increases levels - ie level scaling. Which is what Oblivion tried.

Nnnnnope. You can roleplay training (on summoned creatures) with an Eye of the tiger playing in the background. Then get out there and kick ass. City Guards and guild members train on dummies, why can't you?

Me, I've been playing on Master since my 1st character, always do so in all games. People who say the game is easy usually play on lower difficulty and/or powerlevel. :P

I'm sorry, when did balance and fun become mutually exclusive in gaming?
I'm sorry, why are you making a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man and attacking it?

1st - I never said leveling up is an exploit, nor cheating, if you do it legit, I mean not using glitches like the speechcraft trick or oghma infinitum glitch

2nd - I never said using mods is not cheating, in fact, it is, and I don't like mods + I play on console

I wouldn;t say its an easy or a hard game, it is an extremely unbalanaced game regardless of what difficulty setting your on... Often times you'll be one shotting most enemies, turn a corner then an enemy one shots you. The difficulty spikes and jumps around throughout the game. By level 40 though even on master you won't find any content that will really challenge you without mods.

Well, I even enjoy the game on Adept (normal). Not too hard for me, nor too easy. :)
