Since when is a first hand account from someone who viewed the lasers in action the only thing you call proof? I wanna hear more about them from House. I wanna know where they are, how he built them, if they're still active. Seriously, stop acting like House and Raul's stories make up for the whole saving of Vegas. Right now it's just a fairy tale.
I'm not saying that to rely on word of mouth is the only proof. Look at Vegas, it's still standing largely untouched. Three people can conclude House saved Vegas with his lasers. Based on pictures of the Lucky 38 on the artwork, the rooftop of the Lucky 38. How he built them, considering he founded a multi-billion dollar robotics corporation, I strongly doubt he wouldn't have the know how to either build them himself or oversee it's design and construction. Considering he says 'the strain of defending Las Vegas nearly caused the Lucky 38's reactor to meltdown...' I'd say yes and know. If you side with House all the way to All or Nothing, then they will become active, since one of the missions requires you to go to El Dorado substation where he can use a large jolt of electricity to restart it's reactor.
Also, people's stories are fairy tales because you want proof that's already presented by the game world around you? How can we know world war two happened? It's only in books and pictures. It's just fair tales. medieval days never happened, those are just fairy tales.
