EVIIIL!

You haven't met my cannibalistic, hedonistic, self-serving mage. He's a cannibal that cares nothing about anyone... doesn't mind sacrificing his followers to daedric princes for fun, doesn't mind luring people to their deaths, etc. He only takes a quest if it's positively evil or involves some crime, if it pays well, or the end result is the death of numerous individuals at his hand. And he likes to collect skulls. He's filled two vats with skulls in his home.

After putting Uthgerd to death in a dungeon, he stole her key and ransacked her home. He kills every living creature he comes across.

In morrowind, you can slaughter everyone but, like, two NPCs and still accomplish everything needed to beat the main quest.

That's how it should be, but not many games really are.

The reason that they don't let you do anything really evil is because then they'd have to work that into the lore via a dragon break. They take everything into account when the player effects Tamriel, so your evil will have to be minor evil.

They could just do what fallout does and just kinda pretend the player selected the good ending.

I've already sprinkled it on all of your guy's food. You are slowing going mad as we speak. Enjoy!

I like being evil. It's fun. I like fun evil, not nasty, none game friendly evil.
When I can, I am as evil as possible.

But sadly skyrim won't let you be evil, good or even neutrel, because the game is exactly the same every single time, and you can make no impact.
The essential tags stop you killing whole towns or factions.
Or cleaning them up for good.

The evil in skyrim is'nt fun evil mostly, so the only evil faction is the DB. The rest are nasty, none game friendly evil.

If I could I'd make a thalmor siding, kill happy monster who wipes out whole towns and factions for fun or because they hate them.
I'd always destroy the TG, whatever I was.
I'd help the thalmor take over skyrim, and crush the nords.

Because murdering targets in the DB, or stealing from innocent people in the Thieves guild is 'sooo' valiant and good.

Most things in skyrim are pretty middle ground.

My only REAL problem with ALL Elder Scrolls games is the lack of option to be (As mermaid man puts it) EVIIIL! Now true, we get to be evil vampires if we want in dawnguard, but thats only one instance. All throughout Oblivion i craved the ability to become a necromancer and probe the mysterious arts of the dead, or to join the mythic Dawn and wreak havoc upon Cyrodiil with the Daedra, or even just be BAD. Sure you can commit murders and be wanted, but you can't do anything to really threaten tamriel. You can't summon a demon to destroy a town or raise an army of undead to invade a city. I may be alone on this, but I want to be evil! Post either how/why you disagree or how you want to be Evil
look at the effects that would have had: let alduin destroy the world, then complain about theres no more game after it. let mehrunes dagon destroy cyrodil, no more gameplay after it. you can however be a master assassin, in my eyes an evil thing, a master thief, not evil but still bad. have dead thralls follow you and manipulate minds to where you choose your fights most times(dragons excluded), mind manipulation in my book being very bad. be a vampire in past games and now a vampire lord, evil. be a werewolf, not evil but bad, there are plenty of evil things you could do.

I agree, I want to join evil factions, like in fallout games, during the main quest, not an expansion. BUT, then again better late than nothing right!

Nobody said that the end of the world had to be immediate. Sure, you helped it come along, but things on this scale take time.

I think I am evil enough on my 1st character, but then again, everyone can use a little more evil in their lives  .

Killing non-hostile NPCs pretty much kills the game. If I decided I wanted to murder all of Riften, that would be it. No one would repopulate the area and it would close all shops and such. Should Bethesda ever release a patch that repopulates towns over time, I would be more inclined to play a serial killer or even just be bad at certain points.

Similar to not being able to join the Mythic Dawn in Oblivion. It would be a cool option, but having the ability to "break" the game died with Morrowind.
You could join the mythic dawn in oblivion.. You just had to kill all of them immediately afterwords.

I agree. If you want a good experience in the game, you'll have to actually help people... I hate that.

EDIT:

And they are working on Fallout 4 now.

You can still do the main quest while being evil. If Alduin kills everything, he would kill you as well, and you wouldn't like that.

Besides, there is a little thing called Roleplay. Imagine a selfish reason for a character doing good quests.

But you don't truly join them. It's just a farce. And if you happen to RP that your character did in fact join them, there is absolutely nothing to do after that point. So it's not real "evil" content.
