Do you have to be past level 50?
Should be the same requirements as Ulfric.

"What do you want, lizard/cat" is a generic line that can be said by anyone using the MaleNord or FemaleNord voice type.

However, guard lines like "stay out of trouble lizard/cat" are specific to Stormcloak guards.

Tullius gives daedric weapons too.

Really? On my first player I sided with the imperials and he gave me an ebony sword.

Do you have to be past level 50?

I believe I was in the 40s at the time.

Ulfric gave me 2 badass enchantment Daedric swords on my other character. 1 for siding with him at the meeting (As a member of the stormcloak) with the greybeards and the 2nd one to use the sword to execute General Tullius. I could careless about the home in Windhelm because I'm more of a traveler if anything else.

No other NPC has ever given me an enchantment Daedric weapon or armor so Ulfric did me pretty good

I got two enchanted Daedric swords from him on my first SC playthrough. But I started the CW later in the game so was at a much higher level (actually making/wearing Daedric of my own at the time).

Started much earlier this time, SCs were the first faction I joined and I went to Windhelm straight from Riverwood after escaping Helgen. So my rewards were not as awesome... one Dwarven sword, one enchanted Dwarven sword early on... enchanted Ebony sword at the end to kill Tullius. I actually used the Axe of Eastmarch as a primary weapon in the CW after I became Thane, which I did as soon as the option was available. I had only used 2H weapons up to that point anyway.

I used the two Daedric ones for a while because I was into dual wielding at the time, but mostly the reward weapons tend to end up on a plaque or in a display case after the war is over, so getting something at a lower level doesn't bug me so much.

This (scumbag trolling) is not funny.

I suspect that since no one can provide a legitimate definition for the word "scumbag" (I am not aware of any dictionary listing it) it must be that only certain people with "inside knowledge" can tell who's a scumbag and who is not.

Which only proves the old adage that "it takes one to know one."

That is going to disappoint a lot of people who were expecting to look up "scumbag" in the dictionary and see http://images.uesp.net/6/6e/SR-npc-Ulfric_Stormcloak.jpg.

Now, now gentlemen, the truth is quite simpler than you may assume. They're both scumbags. The more interesting thing to ponder here is if you will be able to knife the scumbag who knifed the other scumbag before that scumbag decides to knife you.

For the record, I'm not a gentleman, and the jury's still out on whether or not I'm a lady.

And I don't think either one of them is a scumbag.

Also I think perhaps warpenergybot simply failed to get the joke and then attempted to "fix" it by making it not funny any more. :P

Actually, I'm not particularly surprised that "scumbag" is in the dictionary. I just wasn't aware of it...not being fond of the word or the mentality that embraces it.

It takes a certain kind of person to actively look for ugly even if it means denying the obvious. And moreso to trumpet it around like a three year old just learning potty language.

The "obvious"? That the Empire is up to their eyeballs in appeasemant and collusion with the most genocidally xenophobic species in Skyrim...who would wipe out all humans, without remorse or hesitation, if they could get away with it.

All the rest is just excuses and rationalizations. And lame for all of that.

I suspect it is easier to engage in emotionally laden histrionics than confront the implications of supporting such a position.

It the end, however, putting pepole in that morally uncomfortable position might be just what the developers at Bethesda had in mind.

Some will rise, some will sink.
