Not accounting for alternate universes, nuclear wars and ~170 years, of course.

I don't know much about America.

Okay. :)

Don't worry about it. Even Americans don't know much about America. :P

Well this isn't a gameplay feature but is it just me or are there less black characters around? (Unnamed and named)

I feel that F:NV over all is very segregated. Hots of humans, almost no Ghouls nor Super Mutants. Save the REPCONN site and Jacobstown

Less ghouls and mutants aside (which isn't too bad considering FO3's abundance of them), NV has Ghoul hokers!
Also six-bots.

In this respect I think Bethesda and Obsidian got the NPCs exactly right, there is no racial bias at play here - and if you visit and get a full taste of all the NPCs in the game, it would be silly to suggest Bias. As TayciBear said, there is Alot of African American voice acting in this game - and a good deal of that (I think) comes from Akil Hooper - one of Obsidians really Good level designers and overall cool dude. If you follow them on twitter/facebook as I do, I bet you would agree.

In any respect the comment about lack of Ghouls and Mutants absolutely makes sense - DC was hit by FAR more nuclear bombs than the Mojave, and thus the radiation and all subsequent effects from it would be greatly increased. I would be shocked if the ratio were the Other way around.

No they got the NPCs right for these games IMHO.

Biggest change I noticed, there seems to be more than three voice actors in FONV compared to FO3, looks like they hired someone else.

Really? I've found the opposite, you hear the same voice actor having a conversation with himself Obvlivion-style a lot more than you did in FO3. Go visit any NCR base, there's that one guy's voice that you hear over and over again...

Stealing is much easier. Owners don't follow you around anymore.
