the forums have spontaneously decided to start using my x-mass avatar. I had deleted it and uploaded my blue-and-white one a while ago, but today the forums decided to use my green-and-red one. :blink: Is this a known issue?

Yes, known issue - your blue one is showing for me. It is a problem that has been reported.

I re-uploaded my blue-and-white avatar this evening, but the boards kept showing me the x-mass one. After clearing my internet cache, the blue one now appears correctly.

I noticed something weird. I was looking at someone's profile and I was in their friends list. They aren't in mine. I never got any message that they added me (definitely supposed to get one) and I'm pretty sure they're supposed to automatically get added to my list.

Oh, another thing. I've long ago disabled allowing people to post comments on my profile page. And yet, there was a comment there, posted just a few days ago. I have deleted it, but I'm wondering if some setting isn't working like it should.

No offense to the person whose comment I deleted. I just like my privacy, and would rather not have to "monitor" my profile page.

Does anyone elses's notifcation dropdown periodically not open correctly

I get it too, but it appears to me that in the office where we have IE8 it's happens more likely (almost always), while at home where I have Opera 11.00 it never happens.

I've come across a bug: I'm supposed to get a notification every time someone quotes one of my posts but it isn't working all the time. I think if the quoted post isn't the first thing in a post or if there is another quoted post before it, then the notification isn't sent.

At random I'm getting my old avatar back. That is, the christmas version of my original avatar that I was using from December 1st until January 3rd or so, with the christmas balls hanging from the Djinni's ears. Then a little later it's back to normal. I've heard someone else mention having this problem too.

Yup, I see it too. The avatar code is sooo incredibly buggy on this forum now.

I can't remember when the forum was this slow. Even try to update the page and shortly after I get this: 500 - Internal Server Error

I was logged out and it took me several minutes to even get the forum page back up again, but after awhile I could barely login and navigate here to post this.

It's probably to many members logged in at the same time or is it something else.

What it is is you've got profile comments disabled, but not status comments.

There is a little link alongside your status comment that says "Lock".

I have this odd glitch where if I click on the notifications box, it comes up with the loading bar in the center and then it just disappears and does nothing. Is that to do with the fact that I'm using Chrome?

Alright well now it's semi caught up... someone last week observed that my avatar was of the Blues Brothers, and that's an avatar I had for maybe a day a long long time ago... :shrug:

As for your avatar, I see a horse. A brown horse. With half a human body beneath it.

P.S. I just changed my avatar to the axis bold as love cover... does it still show the dude in power armor?
