Future DLC Suggestions (Not Dawnguard) [merged similar topic

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 4:02 am

I'm really glad Bethesda takes a lot of time to create really good and large DLC. But seven months is far too long to wait without anything coming out. I'll wait a long time for the really good stuff, all I'm asking for a something little every now and again to keep me preoccupied while I wait for the big stuff like Dawnguard and Hearthfire. At this point I would even pay for horse armor. Anything Bethesda!

Everyone realizes that there were almost seven months between Oblivion and the Knights of the Nine expansion right?
Oblivion - March 20, 2006
Knights of the Nine - October 15, 2006

This forum has an overabundance of pessimism. Sheesh.

On a side note, I would like to see some DLC with the ability to remarry.
Everyone makes mistakes (*cough* Ysolda *cough*)

i think they should post a list of the 50 best pc mods, and let console players vote on 5 or 10 to be ported to console.

Why is this thread separate from the Hearthfire thread?

Sorry bootysweat. I did'nt see this topic at first .

Here are some of my ideas I'd like to see hopefully one day. For the weapons I took the liberty of posting a couple of links in case someone doesn't quite understand what kind of weapon I'm talking about or what they look like. Browse to your hearts content.

1. Weapons list
- Armored Claw Gauntlets http://www.trueswords.com/images/prod/c/skull_bones_hand_claw_540.jpg
- pikes
- throwing spears
- Spears
- polearms
- slings (maybe explosive bullets?
- two-bladed swords, axes, and maces ( you hold the hilt of the weapon in the middle and you have a blade, axe or mace on both ends of the hilt) http://www.freewebs.com/norstar1/XL1352.jpg

- flails (spiked maces except the end of it is guarded by a chain so as to swing in an arc formation)
- triple-ball flails http://thevikingweaponsstore.com/images/Triple_Ball_Medieval_Flail.jpg

- Spiked armor and shields (for tackling with sprint)
- throwing knives and darts
( Speedy and quick ranged attacks. Would be great for slow-motion kill cam)
- scimitar http://www.blackgate.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/scimitar.jpg
- set your own traps (aside from runes)
- dual-wield two-handed weapons (slow attack and high stam cost but very high dmg)
- spiked chains and whips

- One-handed crossbows (also called hand crossbows but good for dual-wielding and low damage)
- light crossbow (for fast shooting)
- heavy crossbow ( for slow shooting but high dmg)
- light armor gloves with hidden blades http://www.tqcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/ACBLade-TQ.jpg

- Short swords
- blow darts

- flintlock pistols and guns
- rapier (piercing sword like ones for fencing) http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/attachments/requests-341/79828d1271625295-model-rapier-pistol-duel-equipment-rapier.jpg
- throwing axes
- scythes
- To add to alchemy: hand bombs (poison bombs, fire bombs, frost bombs, Shock bombs, Smoke bombs for blind

2. Some new music
This has been one of my personal favorite fantasy tracks for a long time. Would love to see it make it to Skyrim.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYCWQ8XjBnM&feature=list_related&playnext=1&list=SP9A8E2A44B2E8632B: Baldurs gate music

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PBI0lqwhRE&feature=list_related&playnext=1&list=SPE9FD2D1F173ACEF2: Icewind dale music

edit: Also I would love to see a unique hardcoe mode come to Skyrim. Really want to join the Thalmor and give them Skyrim.

You know what they should do for a dlc. They should do it about drewmers.
Like some kind of a expedition to a massive drewmer structure. Than like new weapons and stuff related to that. The new horse could be made of gears. The new skill could be making those little drewmer robot spiders and stuff. For each perk a new kind of robot. Basically like summoning. It would be a robotic skill. If they really wanted to get people stirred up they could add drewmer as a playable race?

Future DLC features wishlist:
more magic effects and elementa damages

become a lich with perk tree

become a DRAGON with perk tree

Visit: either another province (the Thalmor realm for an onslaught) OR an unseen realm of Oblivion. Jyggalag's realm would be a good idea. Or Azura's. Or Meridia's, since there is absolutely no info on that one.

Downloadable Content #1 : Dawnguard

Downloadable Content #2 : Hearth Fire

From the leaked files shown at one point, I'm in the belief that the next downloadable content will be about the falmer.

Well, I don't think I'd like anything more to do with Daedric Realms or anything of that sort. I think I'd prefer something that took us to another Province or some such.

iwouldnt want a DLC. i wnat an expansion pack that involves you waging war on the aldemeri dominion once you have completed the civil war questline.
You do realise that DLC stands for downloadable content, what you've suggested is DLC.

I would like to see a DLC of SKYRIM set 2000 years into the future with all the technological advancements and "magic" and "vampires" and argonians and khajits living outside of the dark ages.

Your character knows the secret of "immortality" either with vampire blood or some other way, but it would be great to see gigantic "fantasy" skyscraqers.

I just want them to hurry up so they can get to work on Fallout 4.

Stay on topic please, Skyrim DLC. There are plenty of threads in the Fallout forums if you wish to discuss that game. Thanks.

Apparently, we're not alone

I was hoping for a Blacklight in the first DLC, as far as I know the climate in the area around Blacklight is pretty similar to that in skyrim so Bethesda wouldnt need to create too many new models. Maybe a rebuild the Morag tong or some quests for Argonian soilders. But there is still hope for the next DLC.
