There are silver weapons in Skyrim.

I never saw them in the Smithing menu or in merchant inventories.

You cannot craft them, but there are certain NPC enemies that carry them.

They look like ghosts?

Don't agree with the fact that they can be decapitated and killed with any weapon though. Was good in OB and MW in that you needed a magic or silver weapon.

Well, you can't expect new generation players to actually have to think about something in the game or that something presents an obstacle which actually takes some effort to solve.

OT:
I also prefer how Oblivion ghosts look, but I'm not too much troubled with how do they look now.

i like oblivion ghost's looks more, blue people does not a ghost make, and i also miss having to be prepared in the slightest bit, i always carried a silver dagger and a few silver arrows in oblivion, now there is no way for me to get into a really bad situation
