Thats the least of their problems mainly the fact that it's a ghost yet you can cut it with a iron sword and cut their heads off but yes they do look very bad.

How do you define a real ghost anyway.

My only issue with them is how hard they can be to actually see. I like that they look like spectral versions of whatever they were in life, that's awesome, but the translucent blue makes them a total pain to actually spot. Needs a bit more white like the ones from the Forbidden Legend questline.

My only problem with the new ghosts is the way you can loot solid armor and weapons off them when they clearly are not when they're worn.

Well, that and the way you grap them for finishing moves, just like you do with corporeal enemies.

I think many of them should have looked like the corrupted shades (so awesome looking in the meridia quest) maybe with some variance.

They look like ghosts?

Don't agree with the fact that they can be decapitated and killed with any weapon though. Was good in OB and MW in that you needed a magic or silver weapon.

here is a pic of the corrupted shade http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/7/72/Corrupted_shade.png again i say these should have been ghosts with some variance in armor or even some suedo faces.

I think they look fine. What would you prefer they look like? Could you find us a picture from the internets?

Well, isn't that how it always goes?
Bethesda provides a great skeleton (the world) and modders provide the flesh (actual content)?

I remember getting killed by ghosts in Oblivion because I didn't have magic/silver weapons or magic spells to use against them. Later on, that wasn't a problem.
Bethesda should have kept that part in Skyrim, rather than have ghosts be simply spectral versions of regular enemies.

I don't run into ghosts enough to care about how they look.

Skyrim is an Elder scrolls game devoid of any and all complication or need to think. How is Bethesda going to take money from the noob players if they can't understand the mechanics of the game? Easy. Remove said mechanic. It's a damn shame.
