I never play games when my girlfriend is around, I just can't I would rather have fun with my girl than play games and let her watch. And I don't like girls which play games  I never talk about games with girls, all I do is flirting and you know... having fun...
Once ever in my life I've played multiplayer game with my girlfriend and it was nfs world but I didn't play it seriously, just me and couple of friends had fun of her and we blocked her with our cars when racing etc.

You really are sad

No more boyfriend (he didn't care for gaming anyway).

New roommate moving in next month. He's a rabid gamer, loves TES, and has even got the CE of Skyrim.

Life is looking up!

Signed,

Honestly... the whole "no girlz on teh internetz" thing comes from an age when it practically was true....

back in the day when the only people on the internet were the truly socially challenged (like mahself lol) and gaming was considered only for nerds or geeks.

There were women gamers back then as well of course... but still fit the same "nerd/geek" label the rest of us boys did.

Now however there has been a HUUUUUGE paradigm shift in the way society views gaming. NOW it's acceptable. NOW it's cool.

As a result... general population has simply exploded... and we are seeing a much more broad scope of users and gamers that more accurately represent real life.... though still a slight lean to more nerds & geeks per capita online then off for obvious reasons.

[censored]... you'll even see chicks mention that they're gamers on their online dating profiles now.

And even chicks who aren't "gamers" don't have the same prejudice against it that they used to... and many will play a bit o' mario kart or some other easy entry level game.

Why do you even have a girlfriend if you have skyrim, AND the internet? advlt websites give you what you need, then you close them and dont have to listen to their stupid noises.
I smell issues.

My girlfriend plays skyrim just as much as me, and the only reason I get married is for the free house followed by the ahh... inheritence..

I'm a black widow, of the male variety.

Came by the house while I was in game, said she was taking some stuff over to her place. Then I realized I haven't been in a relationship in over a year... come to think of it she kind of sounded like a man.

Well I can, I am a 21-year-old girl who loves playing video games, I have been playing games since I was 3-4 years old and my father taught me how to play games on his computer, like Pinball and some racing game on MS-DOS (it was called Wacky or something like that). And when Playstation1 first came out and I played Crash Team Racing and Tekken 2 and 3 with my male cousins and friends, none of them thought it was inappropriate, or that it was going against some silly internet rule. On the contrary, we had tons of fun! I grew up playing video games with my family and friends, and still manage to have a normal social life as well. Therefore, it appears not every rule on the internet is to be followed, because apparently they are not all true. There

Wacky Wheels. I love that game...

Edit: I tried to get my girlfriend to play games countless times but I don't really have success so far. Console games work better (I don't have a console), but at soon as I start to win, she gets angry . But I will never give up. Right now I am in China, she is back home, so I did not have a chance to convince her of this gem.

sooo.... i am 20. so unlike in most online games, i'm considered...... to be... young here?

What about me then? I'm 14...

OT: Well, da as you wish I'd say. If your girlfriend can't handle that you marry an imaginary woman in a game, I don't know how healthy your relationship is.
Your call I guess.

I laughed at this until I realised I was married therefore obsolete and pointless and then I laughed again. I am very new here and I'm a girl and all the buttons confuse me, so I hope you be nice to the only girl on the intraweb.

Sounds like a guy looking for teh cyburz.

My boyfriend (hahaha let's shake things up... girl here) got me Skyrim for Christmas and announced "Okay, now I've effectively blueballed myself for the next several weeks..."

I tried to get him to play Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim and he didn't like any of them. In Morrowind he got done with chargen, then decided to stab Fargoth, and got killed by guards, and then he was like, "I have to do the whole thing again!? This is stupid" and turned it off. He didn't even finish chargen in Skyrim. :P

Also even though he doesn't play Skyrim he's taken the "arrow to the knee" joke and ran with it, and he always talks about fus'ing people, especially the cat. "I'm gonna fus you, cat! Fusfusfus! *pushes cat off of couch*" XD

my wife plays skyrim, though for completely different reasons. all she cares about is the loot...and killing things. she only cares about the RPG elements inso far as it helps her kill more things and find more loot. i love watching her play, and i love how much she enjoys it.

LMAO! Whats wrong with loot? My husband calls me a "Loot Wh*re." When he plays I am constantly saying, "You missed a chest back there." He laughs and says, "Honey, I think you have a looting problem."

My gf said my character was hot, and that she'd totally do him....not sure what to make of that.

Make her dress up in one of the fur armor sets and have her slay your one eyed dragon.

The average age of online games is more around 30 than 20. Unless you're playing games particularily target the young (f2p + children themes), at 20 you're young anywhere.

This is only because people who do such polls consider farmville, wii bowling and bejeweled to be super-hardcoe-gaming-yo-dawg.

In real games the age average is much lower.
