I actually don't care for the Augmented Reality glasses. I think it's a cool concept, but it's too bulky. Instead of working on actual hardware, we should be researching how to get this technology built INTO us, not ONTO us. The realization of this dream would be through http://phys.org/news122819670.html
Imagine a world where everyone's eyes are fitted with electronic tattoos, that display the world and everything else right onto your cornea. Electronic tattoos use micro circuits and things, so tiny that you can fit entire processing units just onto a little flap of skin. If the technology advances enough, we could soon turn our eyes into machines. No need for Google Glasses or Google Contacts, we will have Google
EYES.
That's a world
I want to live in.
