Habits!?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 2:01 am

I always head right whenever I go into a dungeon or tomb and keep taking right turns so I don't miss anything.

I only take Skill Books and plan to arrange them in my home one day. Actually I will steal a book if it has a pretty cover...

I always take a 'pic' when I save so I can easily tell where I was when I look at the Load screen.

I always put on a pretty dress when I go to town.

I don't steal from Temples or Shrines or people who are nice to me.

I also close doors behind me.

Collecting books, and sorting them by cover and bindings, what they are about, and how do they actually look in a bookshelf when sorted. I like them to be stored spine up, and some books are better when placed at the ends because they always stay upright and hold the books that lean.

I take all the salt piles, I love the sound.

^This is awesome!

My habits include having to run home after just about every dungeon to drop off the books I loot. I don't like looting much, (but I cannot resist books), and I like to keep my inventory as minimal as possible, so I won't lug those books into the next city/cave/ruin etc.
Even though I don't loot much I still check everything just in case there's something interesting - except urns. What is it with you guys and urns? I never go rummaging around in someone's remains cos I think that would be disrespectful. Unless I have just had to kill em, that is.
I used to be such an obsessive repairer in previous TES games, that I find I still think about repairing my gear after every bout of adventuring.

I pick over every corpse for gold and jewellery along with any where else it might be stashed, almost relieved it doesn't count towards any weight. Have also now developed a habit of clearing a dungeon, returning to my house to store everything and then returning to clear out anything I remember of value. I also cannot leave behind any enchanted weapons, these come with me even if they make me overloaded, I just slowly walk out and work out where the nearest town is that I can go offload my loot.

I also am forever casting atronachs as I get lonely when wandering and exploring, they make for good company as they don't speak and can give me a heads up on any enemies I've missed.

-I close doors
-I pick up, and save, every magical item. Same for books, even if I already have them.
-I pick up every flower or mushroom I encounter. I even go out of my way to pick flora.

How do you collect heads and get them through another cell.

As I'm playing, I notice more things I do.

I hot key my shield on the D-pad (xbox 360), because I can't stand running around with my shield on my arm.

On stone bridges, I noticed I always jump on the ledge and walk across. Not sure why >_<

How does one do that?

And I close every door behind me.

Whenever I come across Skooma or Moon Sugar I have to go back to my house in Whiterun to do it because it's illegal. Yeah.

Whenever I come across a dragon I lead it to a place where I'll most likely never go again (one time I killed one and it stayed in the College of Winterhold courtyard; bugged me for ages.

I do groceries.

I collect every skull I see.
"WIIIILLLLSOOONNN" - only some people will get that reference.

I drop every key after use (lolipretenditbreakslikezelda)

and that's about it.

When leaving Dragons Reach, I always jump into the pool. Most of the time it injures me, but I do it anyway.
This. I always do this, without fail. Why take the stairs when you're basically standing on a giant diving board over a pool?

Go back to find a place to sleep before levelling up. (habits from oblivion.. lol).
Also drinking and eating some food after waking up. Sometimes I change to smithing clothes before forging/upgrading armor or weapon. :)

-The only Jewelry I steal/forge/keep is silver jewelry. I hate the way gold looks, and sell off all the gold ingots I find.

-Kill every living being out in the wilderness. People, animals, everything. But not anybody in towns...unless they piss me off (Rest in pieces Sigurd)

-Kill every Vigilant of Stendarr I see

-Pickup every Ebony War Axe I find. Have over 50 dispersed around my homes

-Enchant clothes/jewelry for everyoccasion. Since I'm lvl 100 in both Light and Heavy armor, and 1H and 2H, I have a ring and necklace for each Light Armor 1H, Light Armor 2H, Heavy Armor 1H and Heavy Armor 2H. As well as neck and ring set for extra stamina and carry weight, a set for smithing, and a set for each of the magic schools.

-I carry 4-5 weapons at all times. Usually (1) 2H weapon, (2) 1H weapons, (1) 1H or 2H weapon with soul trap, and (1) bow

-Buy every Daedric, Ebony, Glass, and Dwarven arrow available

-Everytime I go to Whiterun I have to buy at least 1 Skyforge weapon (I hoard weapons)

-Every 7 in-game days I go the Shrin of Mehrunes Dagon and kill all the dremora there. Not just for the Daedra Hearts, but because they give grand souls, and I collect filled grand soul gems.

-I have to buy/collect every filled and non-filled Grand Soul Gem

-I buy every Daedra Heart I see

-I have to pick every Glowing Mushroom I find. They are my favorite thing to pick

Im sure I will think of more the next time I play

I used to smoke a lot sitting in front of my puter, but after taking it apart and seeing the black goo covering all my hardware I now smoke outside  Now all I find is fine dust inside the case and that's easilly removed by a blast of air.

On topic; Even though I have over 200k gold, I keep picking up loot to sell. It's so annoying

so the black goo on the computer bothered you....now about your lungs.

I quit 3 years ago, you know reformed smokers are the worst....

About every 4 hours real time I have to go to my home base in whiterun and get my inventory just so... hate a cluttered list.

I loot every gold coin I can, be it from bodies, urns, chest, dead skeevers, etc. I just can't leave one coin, even if I have 200K in my inventory and have bought every house in the game. I am still going to check that urn to see if it has 3 gold in it.

Why? Well because if I don't take it then somebody else will.

Another strange one:

I sleep ingame. And I don't even RP at all. When I've been adventuring for an entire day, I find myself looking for a bed when night falls. I must stop that, especially since I have the Enhanced Night Sky mod installed :P.

hardcoe isn't sleep or eat. that is pretty basic, right?

weapon/armor degradation is a lot more,right?

potions over time and in limited quantities is even more than that, right?

the ability to toggle these 'hardcoe' options should be available.
