Habits!?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 4:32 am

What are some habits you guys have when playing Skyrim?

I can't leave any urns empty. It gets annoying but I just can't leave any untouched.

I take every sweetroll I see.

I kill every rabbit I see running around.

I'm sure there's more, I can't think of them atm. What are things you guys do?

I smoke cigarette every 20 minutes ingame
I used to smoke a lot sitting in front of my puter, but after taking it apart and seeing the black goo covering all my hardware I now smoke outside :) Now all I find is fine dust inside the case and that's easilly removed by a blast of air.

On topic; Even though I have over 200k gold, I keep picking up loot to sell. It's so annoying :D

Yeah I have over 100k and tend to keep the valuable stuff I find in dungeons and sell it. Lol

When leaving Dragons Reach, I always jump into the pool. Most of the time it injures me, but I do it anyway. :D

I bump into every guard to trigger their comments. I always ask Dirge in the Thieves Guild how he got his name. I come up with and speak aloud my own funny comments when attacking bandits, etc - i.e. 'you never should have come here' or 'I'm going to enjoy counting your gold', :)

I search urns too :D. I also close doors behind me as CCNA has said, I also always take a specific route out of a city. If playing on a account which I don't use fast travel on, I become ethereal down high hrothgar ;)

I have to climb mountains my way, not by the path. If I see it, I have to get the top in as straight a line as possible, even if it means pressing 'jump' for five minutes or using Whirlwind Sprint. Spent a very long time trying to find back routes up the Throat before mostly admitting defeat.

I just HAVE to pick up any glass items and put the in a drawer in the archmages quarter. I never use it for anything, but it has become as obsession. I also name all my chars Frodo, regardless of six and race. I cant play them seriously unless i do it.

Give all the beggar's a septim
close all door's
give all loose horses a carrot or apple ( it's the point of it )
grocery shop once a week ( all my char's eat regularly) lot's of elswer fondue and stew's
Try on any "new" outfit, even if it isn't what that character would wear. ie try on heavy armor for character that wear's only light.
Talk to everyone in any guild I am attatched to when I come across them ( I think of it like saying, hello how have you been to a friend)

I can't leave any urns empty. It gets annoying but I just can't leave any untouched.

I do this. I can't help it. I have to look inside and take everything out of them, epecially the coins. I think I'm hoping to find some amazing loot one day since that is the only way I get my equipment.

I close doors behind me.

I grab every gem or piece of jewelery I can.

I take gold from every corpse, but usually leave everything else.

I do all these things too.

I too cannot leave urns, gems, coins, or expensive loot untouched.

I have to do everything in a cell a specific way otherwise I have to restart the cell and do everything correctly, such as walking at the same walking pace as NPCs, centering the NPC I am talking to on the screen, listening to every conversation and replying in a sensible and realistic manner in a realistic amount of time.

I can't miss when I shoot (As I RP a total badass that is a master marksman).

I have to arrange bodies on the ground to where it looks realistic and they can't have weird awkward poses. I also have to put the named Dragon Priests back into their coffins and the named Dragons back into their burial mounds.

I can't be injured by traps; I consider it a death, especially the blade and spike traps.

I kill every Alik'r warrior that harasses the lone Redguard woman.

I collect every one-of-a-kind item, or items with a very limited amount within the game.

I pray at a Nine Divines alter before leaving any city. If there's a choice (e.g. Temple of the Divines), then I choose the Shrine of Akatosh ...

Always check every container to see whats inside.

Take all the gold I find.

Always walk in cities unless my character is in a rush.

Try to sleep every night, usually for 8 hours sometimes more.

Try to eat meals, honey nut treats, bread, sweetrolls and apples are usually breakfast with meat and mead or ale for dinner.

Pick up an enemys weapon to stop it from laying on the ground forever.
